Could we have spent more time talking about smelling danger?

(eg poisonous gases, stale/spoilt food) what should we do if we feel that milk / bread / other types of food tastes weird/funny? who should we look for / inform when we smell smthg weird from our surroundings like haze / chemical smells?

I like the enforcement of routines and particularly like the part when you picked up the students' disappointment at not being called and addressed if it was a small or big problem!

Maybe the only suggestion is that as it is the last 2 periods and students are naturally restless, maybe some movement would be good?

I like the suggestion to include some movement at the last 2 periods and would explore this aspect for PAL lessons that are less active. Perhaps an activity that can allow to students to move but yet related to the theme of smell.

I observe that when I deliberately "insert" reminders of expected behaviours, students are more mindful and because it was explained and reinforce, they are better at showing those behaviours (turn taking, asking questions, using kind word, etc).
