I would brainstorm my ideas and take reference from online. I would then consolidate all the possible ideas I could use, not leaving out any idea in spite of the fact that some of them may be unrealistic and impractical, because I can incorporate different elements of my different ideas to form a final one that I would personally consider creative.
Project Management:
I would ensure all my work is done on time. I can do so by setting up a timetable or a schedule for myself so that I can complete my work in the most possible efficient manner and avoid any wastage of time, in order for me to further enhance my learning.
Expression:
I want to present my work in a clear and concise manner, because I think that this would allow for a better presentation of my work and can better capture the attention or pique the interest of others, and I think I am able to do it through different forms of expressions.

How did I do (with respect to my goals)?
I think that I had done fairly well as I had achieved my initial goal of having proper time management - as I was able to finalise my LED Lamp and complete it on time, to the best of my ability. I think that one aspect of which I would consider I had done well would be that of the reduction of any possible wastage of time, by keeping track of the steps and processes of what I had to do, organising my thoughts and my plans, before working on the project.

How did I do (with respect to my goals)?
I think that I had done fairly well as I was able to impress my client and she had given feedback about its feasibility - she was satisfied as it was comfortable and of an appropriate design, and she believes that it would beneficial to her as she would not be as easily distracted. How did I do to contribute to my group (with respect to my goals)?
As the group secretary, I ensured that the projects were completed and submitted on time, checked that the links were all put in place, added the proper sketches to the slides and the google documents, and thought of various ways to engage my peers during the presentation. Besides that, I urged my peers to complete their respective duties before the deadlines, to better manage their time so as to ensure we can complete the final prototype within the given time.
Milestone check 1:
We planned the entire process of our project and assigned the different duties to each individual.
Milestone check 2:
We began working on the project - For me, I worked on building of the prototype - e.g. cutting out the cardboard pieces, measuring the sizes, designing the prototype, attaching the pieces of cardboard.

My proudest moment was when I had successfully completed the final group project with my peers. I think that we had put in a lot of effort and we did our utmost to put together a prototype to solve a real life scenario problem. We were able to generate numerous ideas to solve our problem identified, and we did not give up in the face of obstacles. Eventually, we were able to complete our project to the best of our ability, and I personally believe our hard work has paid off.

With respect to my goals, what was my greatest challenge?
My greatest challenge was the time constraints and the difficulty in time management, as we had a lot of portions we had to complete within the given amount of time. We could have definitely done better in terms of time management and organization, by planning out a schedule as well as the different duties each of us had to fulfil, so that we could avoid any wastage of time.

1. Rhythm: 
Describe how you have demonstrated your ability to create rhythm using Percussion Instruments.

I collaborated and worked together with my group mates all of us playing our part and contributing to put together an ensemble as we believe that this something of which each and every one of us has a role to play. We made our ensemble tighter so that the main beats could constantly be heard loudly. Our group started with the main drum which played 8 beats, followed by the kompang which was played for 8 beats, and lastIy the mini drum which I used, that was played for another 8 beats. Personally, I think that our group has put in a lot of effort in preparing this percussion ensemble, yet I believe that we could have done better in various other ways. As Ms Khoo said, I feel that we should make our ensemble tighter. In addition, the main beat should be played louder, so that it would be clearer for the rest of us to follow that beat to play our own parts. We could also have been more united and have confidence in ourselves to play each part properly. Overall, I think that we have done the piece to the best of our ability but there is certainly room for improvement.


2. Melody:
Explain how your understanding of the use of scales has help you to create Melody.

As scales set the tone and give an entirely different flavour to the melody, I took note of the scales, rearranging them before incorporating to form the melodies.
Knowing the scales allowed me to create a more harmonious melody as I was able to tweak it and improvise along the way, therefore enabling it to become a unique and distinctive melody. By understanding the use of scales well, we can use the time to avoid other mistakes and flaws such as  ensuring that the melody does not get drowned by the accompaniment, as well as to spend more time working jointly together in order to make the ensemble more united.

3. Chords: 
Explain how your understanding of the use of chords has help you to create accompaniment and melody.

For most portions we made sure that we got the melody to play the same notes as the chords in order for the listener to hear consonance,  as we did not want the melody to disagree with the chords as they would clash, which would then cause a lack of harmony. Understanding the use of chords gives us a better picture of the relationship between the melody and the chords which helps us to harmonise the tunes  better as well.

Sound Scape:
1. The sounds of the environment; to treat the world soundscape as a musical composition of which man is the principal composer, and to make critical judgments which would lead to its improvement. Give your opinion.

To me, sounds play a key significant role in our daily lives. Sounds serves two basic functions for people around the world, signalling and communication. Without it, the environment we live in would become dull and monotonous, but now with it, our world has become brighter and livelier.

This is because we had persevered with determination as well as resilience despite the fact that it may have seemed tough and that we may have faced several difficulties and challenges along the way. The fact that we continued to strive towards success and completing the task to the best of our abilities, doing our utmost all the way till the end, makes me proud and contented.

To me, the greatest challenge our group faced was working against the time, as I feel that we can certainly work on our time management and work faster as that would give us a longer additional period of time to prefect our work and to continue working on and improving it.
