Carnotaurus was a meat-eating dinosaur with two horns on the top of its head and very small arms. It had an unusually short snout and its head was very narrow. Scientists have found lots of skin impressions for this dinosaur, so we know that it had scales over much of its body. Carnotaurus lived during the Maastrichtian period in the late Cretaceous period (72 million years ago) in what is currently Patagonia and Argentina. it went extinct between 71 and 69 million years ago. It Lived in a terrestrial habitat and was a carnivore and Only one specimen has been found by paleontologists. I picked this Dinosaur because it looks interesting. Video Link.

A pterodactyl is a pterosaur which is a type of flying reptile. The first Pterodactyl fossil was discovered in 1815. About 66-228 million years ago the pterodactyl evolved. It went extinct about 65 million years ago. The pterodactyl is extinct because of the theory of a large asteroid or comet hitting Earth. 3 facts about the pterodactyl are that it was not a dinosaur but it lived during the same period. Pterodactyls lived during the Late Jurassic. They had fur instead of feathers. This is my favorite dinosaur because it looks cool and it can fly.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfYuvlE78Nk

The Velociraptor has razor-sharp teeth, killer claws, and a feathered and athletic body. This absolute killer machine was a carnivore, one of the fossils of the velociraptor was found stabbing a Protoceratops in the stomach. This agile creature evolved 75-71 million years ago but, died during the asteroid. Some cool facts about this creature are below.

Though it was covered in feathers, it could not fly.

The bite of this murder machine was as powerful as a lion's bite.

The size of this little guy was about the size of a turkey now. Giving it the speed it had.

Speaking of speed, this thing can run at 25-27 miles per hour.

The reason why I love this dinosaur is because of its speed, agility, survival skills, and the sound it makes.

The Brontosaurus was a large sauropod, a group of typically large dinosaurs with long necks and tails. It lived during the Late Jurassic Period, from about 156 to 145 million years ago. The Brontosaurus was a herbivore. Scientists do not know exactly why the Brontosaurus went extinct, just that there is no evidence after the Jurassic concluded. This dinosaur's long neck helped it to feed at an incredible height of 49ft (15m), Brontosaurus has been found in Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, and Oklahoma. The Brontosaurus is up to three times bigger than the T-rex. I picked this dinosaur because it looks interesting and is very big. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4OcBgoMed8

The megalosaurus was a carnivore, which mostly preyed on herbivore dinosaurs. The cause of extinction has not been figured out yet but paleontologists believe it was either climate change or an asteroid strike. Some fun facts about the Megalosaurus were that it had shark-like teeth, it was also one of the first dinosaurs to be found and named, and it was expected to be able to run up to 43.4 km per hour. It died off because of the KT extinction event(the big asteroid). It weighs almost 11,000-18,000 lbs. It was found on every continent except Africa.

The Aquilops is a distant cousin of the Triceratops, although it is much smaller. It had a prong on its rostral bone and it had a hooked-shaped beak. It walked on two legs, had a long neck, and a short wide head.

The Aquilops is a herbivore, and its diet mostly consists of plants

It evolved around 108 million years ago and went extinct around 106 million years ago. It lived in the Early Creatoceues period

Scientists are not sure why it went extinct

It is the size of a small cat and is about 2 feet long. It's name means eagle face because its face resembles an eagle. It's skull is smaller than a man's hand. It is the oldest horned discover.

This is my favorite dinosaur, because I think the fact that it is so tiny is cool, and I think its appearance is very interesting. I am also interested in how it would survive if it was that small.

Video Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6Vpeh7Gs3A

If you would like to learn more about this guy, you can watch the video linked below.

Video Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ln04wQkEXM4

(Video length: 44 minutes and 36 seconds)
