This agile creature evolved 75-71 million years ago but, died during the asteroid. Some cool facts about this creature are below.

    1. Though it was covered in feathers, it could not fly.

    2. The bite of this murder machine was as powerful as a lion's bite.

    3. The size of this little guy was about the size of a turkey now. Giving it the speed it had.

    4. Speaking of speed, this thing can run at 25-27 miles per hour.

There is no proof that the Microraptor became extinct before the mass extinction that occurred roughly 66 million years ago at the end of the Cretaceous period, but scientists are unsure of what caused this species to go extinct.
