After a 15-30 minute window of lecturing the teacher can send students in their groups to discuss what was just taught in class while the teacher goes around to each group to make sure they understand the concept.

Global Learning

A semester assignment where other classrooms from around the globe read the same novel and have discussions between classes. This allows students to learn new ideas and perspectives that they would not have known about before the reading.
