Self-reflection takes a lot of practice, and students are usually not very interested in excercises. So, I have used the kahoot game to help students practice answering self-reflection questions before and after the lessons.

I did conduct a self-reflective exercise at school level to improve teaching practices, right after we got an internet connection and a PC in every classroom. Most of „old school” teachers participated and we designed a strategy to improve digital literacy through monthly workshops and a short course at the beginning of the school year. Then, in online school, we would conduct the „Monday Meetings” online in which we shared good teaching strategies and apps, project results, so that all teachers could learn from one another.
The main challenge was to maintain interest and come up with something new to teach them.
For the future, I guess my main challenge would be to learn to use a smart board and then teach others. Or vice versa. I just got a brand new board in my class and so far I've been using it to access Classroom, Youtube and as a whiteboard.

Many years ago when in Italy with much delay as always compared to other European countries, the PC began to be used above all to write minutes and other documents, I understood seeing the dismay and rejection by my colleagues that the use of new IT tools they were scary. I also did not know them but I knew they were the future, and I had to start knowing and using them. I studied as a self-taught teacher and then took the course by taking the ECDL. From that moment my teaching became more and more multimedia and was enriched with new knowledge and skills that have benefited me even in the last two years of DAD due to the pandemic.

I think self-reflection is key to success. In our school with the pandemic a lot of self-reflection has been done and still continues. We were not ready to switch to digital with the lockdown, therefore, we faced a huge challenge, we went through last minute training and tried our best to put everything in place. I must say that with this challenge, some of us started taking training courses more frequently, and uploading materials to a LMS so that they are available to students at any time. However, there are some people who are still reluctant to training courses, and that seems a big problem.

In our school we have implemented in recent years a lesson observation program - the "Multidisciplinary Peer Observation" - in order to reflect individually and in small groups on our teaching practice. This observation practice does not have an evaluative purpose, but rather the sharing of practices through peer observation, through the monitoring of teaching dynamics and practices. As this practice is focused on self and self-reflection, we intended to create dynamics between teachers that would allow the improvement of pedagogical practices.
So far the experience has been positive, although it has not yet been fully embraced by all teachers in our school.

I am an English teacher and I love apps and I used them before the pandemic and even now I use them in my classes with my younger or older Ss. I try to talk with my colleagues as to convince them to use some apps, but I suppose some are attached to the traditional style of learning or are just fed up with online learning by now.
Maybe I should talk with the principal as to obtain a bigger impact of my proposal. Even the Ss are not that into Web tools 2.0 - I suppose the online learning has changed some of their core beliefs....

I'm coordinating the self assessment team in my school, it is not directly related to SELFIE project but I intend to share what I'm learning here with the teachers who are in charge of SELFIE tool.
On the other hand, I think that with time I've changed my perspective on the use of digital knowledge. In the beginning I used to make on my own the activities on kahoot, quizizz, quizzlet and so on, but now I try to teach my students to use these apps as "teachers" in a creative manner. Here my students are learning how to make an interactive image on genial.ly.

During the pandemy we realized that our students had very poor digital skills and only some of them had devices for following the online classes. Righ now, those who need a computer we provide it.
We have just passed the SELFIE questionaire to all the comunity and now we have to analyze the results and create a plan to develope among the studens and teachers in order to achieve our goals.
Apart from that, my challenges are:
1.- How to learn to use a smart board. We have received some of them in our high school and I would like to improve my digital competence.

Good morning. My name is Patricia and I am a Spanish and mathematics teacher at my current school in Spain. My center has a good technological endowment, everything has come from the pandemic, which coincided with the change of Management Team.
The center had obsolete computers and poor efficiency with them. Since the pandemic, laptops, i-pads have been purchased, Snapped technology has been used, digital whiteboards have been implemented,... and all this by training teachers to be able to make use of all these new technologies with their students.

Only half of the teachers at our school responded to the SELFIE for schools questionnaire during ERT last year. Unfortunately, except from the headmaster and myself no one has found the time to study the report and reflect on it, yet. Pupils, on the other hand, have been very enthusiastic with SELFIE. All classes responded in lesson time and later spend a few lessons during the English class to study and reflect on the report. It was a fulfilling experience for me as a teacher to realise how mature my pupils are! They did make the most of the SELFIE opportunity coming up with ideas for solutions, too!

I myself, when I was a teacher, liked to do my own self-reflection to see how I can improve myself but now in my new role as school leader, I wish to implement a whole-school reflective exercise. I think the biggest difficulty will be to get all teachers to participate willingly and to see the advantages of such exercise. I think, to overcome this, there needs to be the involvement of the whole school leaders team and to make the teachers feel supported in implementing changes which will be deemed necessary after self reflectioon.

I normally use them at the end of the term to see what they expected from my practices and what they finally got from them. I’ve never initiated such a comprehensive self-reflection exercise at school level because it’s not up to me as I’m not a member of the school board. However, it has become somewhat a regular exercise during school breaks – sometimes the groups include teachers and educators, teaching different age groups and subjects, but other times (as the last self-reflection moment) involving all teachers of the same department. Surveys have also become regular in our inboxes so that our voices can be heard concerning, for example, the digital tools we would like to learn more about for our classroom practices.

Personally – but voicing other colleagues’ points of view – I’ve been feeling a bit overwhelmed. While teaching the same number of classes / students, teachers are supposed to get involved in projects, in TDCs, in school meetings after meetings…and while I’m still feeling very motivated, many aren’t. Motivation may therefore be the biggest challenge.

With my own sts I’ve already collected info with focus groups and those have worked really well.

We did take SELFIE twice in the past years. However in both cases, while we got very good feedback from students, we lacked enough from colleagues. The main issue that emerges from analysis is that school is quite limited in the way it can improve digital infrastructure on its own.

How transparent are leadership and decision making processes for everyone?
I'm the leader in our school, because I'm the Principal. I think, because I want, be being transparent with my decision, by that, I explain to the Department Heads, at a meeting every fortnight, what we are doing, how we are doing, and where we want to go as a Management Team, waiting and gathering their support and involvement. So far, it is working and we are supported by 60 percent of the teachers. But, I must improve the communications because I see some teachers don't know how we are working now exactly. There is a tool that can be used to reflect the well-being of teachers in a school. As I see it one of the main challenges is the ability of a council to face the results and to deal with alarming results in the end. The tools outcomes are very complex and you need a teacher training to be able to read the results and to use them for your further work and there is no support how to deal with the results. So a lot of councils are not willing to use the tool as it is not clear how to benefit from it. As I understand it is of great importance that each member taking part in a questionnaire is informed about the process and understands the value of the task. For a longlasting effect of such an activity it is of great importance that a council is supported when dealing with the results. And right from the start the activity needs to be meaningful to get true answers from everyone. So it is so important to keep it anonymous and safe for every participant! From all I saw from Selfie till today I understand that Selfie is easy, helpful and well organized. So I am looking forward to working with it!

I implemented a self-reflection tool, but only for students, not for teachers, and it was related to what and how they would like to learn and get involved in school's life. The main challenge is that students (and I guess teachers as well) may be reluctant to answer sincerely, fearing that they may be judged based on their ideas. When I used the reflection tool, I made sure it was anonymous and it stayed so, and I assured students they would not be judged.

Italian schools are periodically asked to reflect on their strengths and weaknesses in order to develop an improvement plan. I believe that selfie can be a simple and user-friendly tool. The most important thing is to accompany colleagues from the very beginning in becoming aware of the absolute necessity of acquiring digital skills in order to best develop students' abilities. Once the improvement plan has been outlined, it is absolutely necessary to support and accompany students and teachers along the identified path. The most important thing is that those involved never feel left and abandoned by themselves, but are reassured in the acquisition of progressive independence in the use of digital skills and tools. In our school we self reflect. Also we ask students to fill the form about teachers work. What they like and don`t like. In Turkey schools prepare a strategic plan for a term of five years, they identify their present situation with a SWOT analysis and determine some goals by having opinions of every shareholder. In my high school, we opened a self-reflection about Digital Planning with three axes: teachers, learners and families in the last course; mainly after the pandemic lockdown where everybody realized the necessity to reinforce the digital competence.

Nowadays, our educational authorities are fostering this field. Firstly, they are preparing a specific SELFIE for teachers and students in order to obtain a starting point and during the next three years develop a digital planning for primary, secondary and vocational levels.

Digital technology is widely used in our school. In this period when it is very easy to access information, I have the same opinion as my friends about the transformation of education and training techniques. I initiated a reflection exercise together with colleagues on digital resources and on facilitating students' digital competence. and we concluded that we need to train in this area. Personally, I proposed to do this by participating in various webinars in which to learn to use digital resources. I participated in webinars where I learned to use Scientix, Genialy, European Schoolnet Academy and other portals. I looked for support on different groups of teachers on Facebook and I found benevolent people, Scientix ambassadors, Ambassador Genialy, Ambassador Book Creator, from whom I learned, through webinars and telephone collaboration, to use some portals, for a start. We have done several etwinning projects to enable our pupils to open up to the world.
But in our practice, the pupils' autonomy with regard to digital tools remained limited, due to a lack of equipment.
It is very often the teacher who uses the common tools of the class.
During the pandemic, I used digital tools to try to compensate for the lack of interaction between students.

The biggest challenge is making people aware of the advantages of collaborative work. In my opinion, the setbacks are human, intrinsic, and not technological. In addition, our students used these technologies with their eTwinning projects. I am a secondary school teacher of English as a second language and so far I have used Kahoot!, Padlet, Vimeo , Genially to create activities, to assess or present topics, to promote and project students' video editing.
I frequently, but informally, share my ideas with a teacher of chemistry, which is a key subject in my school but of a completely different area. I find it very rewarding and stimulating because she,as me, has attended several courses on hoe to use digital tools in class and she really believe the use of them can really motivate students.
Actually in my school my principal promotes in teachers the use of technology, but he and his head staff have not set up a specific leaders' group to monitor and assess how school staff use digital tools in their ordinary teaching activity.

In my school I am the member of the Quality Team. We meet twice a year to see where our school is now and where it should be so far. We are planning activities for the next year to implement different kinds of improovements in our everyday work.

It was very useful to analyze my practice with the guided evaluation matrix it gave different perspective, even if I new theory about "developing high quality e-course". I am sure, that according to the form I was able to find some caps from my course.
I general I am sure that self-reflection is useful tool but results are not comparable because result depend on critical thinking and not all of us does not have common understanding. It is like self confidence, if person is too confident about analyze, they are not able to learn. That is why self-evaluation should be combined with peer-review, expert evaluation etc. Then results will be more relevant. Also it is important to take in to consideration that every target group feedback has been analyzed critically.

In Portugal all teachers have to make a short annual self assessment about their practice and their training. Also we had a National survey about teachers Digital skills in Education (Check-in tool) that gave a general idea of how our teachers stand on digital competences and the use of digital in Educational practice.

At our VET school, teachers analyze themselves every year in descriptive format, preparing for an annual performance review with school leaders. Some years we also included criteria about digital competencies.
The problem is- teachers, knowing, that digital competence is one of the core competencies of a teacher's jobs, over evaluate themselves. So this method does not work very well as far the teachers are confident (sometimes too much). same time the feedback from students indicates different results. So we are hiping that the SELFIE gives us also the relevant instrument to build up strategies based on validated methods.

In my school, we are implementing Personal Learning and Thinking Skills framework and we started with Reflective Learning competence. Our students created posters in international teams about the questions Reflective Learners should ask themselves. We also created a kahoot quiz on Reflective practice. haven't done any sef-reflexion exercise in my school but should we do one, I think our biggest challenge will be to convince teachers they can trust technologies in their teaching

In my school we are implementing a SELFIE tool and we have already done some evaluation amog teachers, students and school management. The results are the tool for our improvement.

In my school there is a continuous evaluation of the various actions taken to reflect and improve or look for the causes of failure.
I always use forms to get feedback. Both parents and students feel free to express themselves, the results are sincere and true.

In my school educational teams meet and reflect on the teaching practise and results. We write a summary at the end of the course sharing our thoughts and come up with solutions that include in the anual summary.
