The avid hunters, gleeful hunters, and rich hunters. To me, I interpreted these hunters as being the ones searching for love. Their corresponding adjectives represent their qualities as hunters searching for love and their experience. For instance, the avid hunter could be portrayed as skillful in finding love while the rich hunter has found the one they've been looking for.

"I thirst- but for a wine that none on earth knows how to drink!" I believe this quote was referring to finding love with someone naive, and inexperienced. Perhaps this person will be more willing to delve into something. Which, in the moment, feels as if any difficulty could be avoided.

As I was reading into this, I began to delve into the message the writer was trying to portray upon the audience. As I was interpreting it, I began to think the message of searching for love and the difficulties that come with it were emphasized clearly. While doing so, the writer used several metaphors and other figurative language to clearly state his voice. In the text, the writer compares men who open up to love as "a scatter of small, crushed fruit!", which could be a comparison to a broken heart while looking for it.
