As a member of Team A2-10, I was proud to present our investment innovation poster. Through this project, our team had the opportunity to develop and present an innovative idea that aimed to address current investment challenges.

One of the most rewarding aspects of the event was receiving feedback and engaging with other participants. At the same time, viewing other teams' posters exposed us to a variety of creative solutions. Overall, the event was beneficial for all HE19 students and enhanced our knowledge of investment innovation.

During the presentation, we had the opportunity to share our ideas with lecturers, judges, and fellow students. The feedback and suggestions we received helped us recognize the strengths of our project and identify areas for improvement. This experience also increased our confidence in presenting and defending our ideas in front of an audience.

Overall, the innovation poster competition was both educational and rewarding. It encouraged creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration among team members. We are proud of what we achieved and grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and showcase our innovation.

I also learned that innovation does not always mean creating something completely new. Ladderio was developed by combining educational content with a board game concept to make learning more interactive and enjoyable. Throughout the project, feedback from lecturers, friends, and users helped us improve the game. It showed me that even a simple idea can become better when we are willing to listen to suggestions and make improvements.

Besides that, working in a team taught me the importance of communication, cooperation, and sharing responsibilities. Everyone contributed different ideas and strengths, which helped us complete the project successfully. As the project progressed, I became more confident in explaining our innovation and presenting it to others.

Participating in the innovation poster competition was also a valuable experience. It gave me the opportunity to interact with judges, lecturers, and visitors, receive feedback on our product, and learn how innovations are evaluated in a real setting. Overall, this project helped me develop my problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and presentation skills while showing me how innovation can be used to address real challenges faced by students.

We also gained a better understabding of investment concepts because we had to research and simplify complex topics into an engaging game format. This project challenged us to think creatively about how learning can be made more interactive and enjoyable for students. In addition, the project enhanced my creativity and critical thinking skills as I worked with my team to design a game that could effectively address students' learning difficulties. As one of the presenters and report writers, I contributed to preparing the project documentation and presenting our ideas. The biggest challenge I faced was creating a product that was both innovative and useful for users. This required creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork to ensure that our proposed solution could effectively address users' needs.

Through this project, I improved my understanding of financial analysis and learned how hedging strategies can be applied in real-world financial decision-making. I also learned the importance of communication, teamwork, and time management throughout the project. The achievement I am most proud of is learning how to develop and present a product idea while gaining a deeper understanding of option hedging. One of the strengths of this innovation is its accessibility, as it is available in both physical and e-book formats. This makes it convenient for different users and allows wider reach, especially in the digital version which can be easily shared. The content is also valuable as it simplifies complex scam-related issues into an understandable format suitable for younger audiences.

The best part was talking to everyone who came to our booth. Getting nice feedback and tips on how to improve our project and make it a real-world tool was so exciting. It makes me want to keep working hard.

I want to say a big thank you to our lecturer for always helping us. To my amazing team, thank you for all your hard work and for being so great to work with. Through this innovation project, I gained valuable knowledge and practical experience. Our group developed B-UP (Bond-Up), a card matching game where players match bond concepts with their correct definitions. This project helped me understand how to transform the knowledge from the Money and Capital Market subject, especially the topic of bonds, into an innovative and engaging educational game.

I also learned how to think creatively and design an innovation that attracts people's interest while making learning more fun and interactive.

Besides that, I improved my communication and teamwork skills by discussing ideas, sharing information, and working closely with my group members throughout the project. We supported each other and combined our knowledge to produce the best outcome.

In addition, I learned how to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a tool to generate ideas, improve our project, and enhance our creativity. I also gained new knowledge and valuable guidance from our mentor, which helped us refine our innovation.

Finally, during the Innovation Day, I learned how to present our project confidently to the judges, explain our ideas clearly, answer questions effectively, and build confidence in public speaking. This experience has strengthened both my technical knowledge and my soft skills, which will benefit me in future academic and professional projects.

Although we encountered various challenges during the development process, our group remained committed and worked together to find effective solutions. On top of the academic side, this project was a huge learning curve for my personal teamwork and communication skills. I had to learn how to actively listen, pitch my thoughts clearly, and collaborate smoothly with my teammates so we could divide up our responsibilities fairly. Looking back, the whole experience has made me a much more confident problem-solver, teammate, and presenter.

Initially, I was skeptical that comics could carry the weight of serious financial concepts. However, as we sketched, revised, and tested our drafts, I saw the proof firsthand: visual storytelling forces clarity. If we couldn't draw it, we didn't truly understand it. This project pushed me beyond my comfort zone. I had to conduct research I wasn't familiar with, coordinate my tasks with teammates who had different working styles, and articulate my ideas clearly so that the artist, the writer, and the editor were all on the same page.

The biggest takeaway for me was the power of constructive friction. Our team didn't always agree on panel layouts or dialogue, but those debates made FINCOMIC stronger. I learned to defend my ideas with evidence, but also to let go of my ego when a teammate had a better solution. This experience didn't just make me a better student it made me a more patient, adaptable, and confident collaborator. I now see that educational innovation works when every member takes ownership of their piece, trusting the team to connect the dots.

This journey fundamentally deepened my own understanding. To illustrate a concept, I had to master it first. More importantly, I witnessed how the comic medium transforms anxiety into curiosity. This project sharpened my capabilities across four critical leadership pillars: rigorous research, seamless teamwork, clear communication, and adaptive creativity.

Ultimately, FINCOMIC taught me that educational innovation is not about replacing traditional methods, but about enhancing them. It’s about meeting learners where they are and guiding them to where they need to be, making the journey not just effective, but genuinely engaging.

Overall, the feedback received was positive. The judges and visitors appreciated that our project addressed an important and relevant issue raising financial scam awareness among children through an interactive and engaging storybook. They found the concept to be creative, educational, and practical, as it promotes financial literacy and online safety from a young age. The visual design of our poster was also well received because it was colourful, well-organized, and easy to understand.

One of the strengths highlighted during the presentation was our teamwork. Each group member actively participated by explaining different sections of the project, answering questions confidently, and supporting one another throughout the presentation. This demonstrated good preparation and effective collaboration.

However, several suggestions for improvement were also provided. The judges recommended that we include more details about the implementation process, such as how the storybook would be introduced in schools and how its effectiveness could be evaluated. They also suggested expanding the commercialisation strategy by identifying potential partners, such as schools, government agencies, and financial institutions, to increase the project's impact.

Furthermore, the assignment enhanced our creativity as we were required to generate innovative ideas and present our project in an effective and engaging way. It also encouraged us to explore different approaches and improve our ability to design practical solutions.

This competition encouraged me to think creatively and apply the knowledge I learned in university to develop practical solutions with real-world impact. It also inspired me to continue creating innovative ideas that promote financial literacy and make learning more engaging and accessible for everyone.
