The Kairos Youth Worker videos were so essential in helping me get a birds' eye view of youth work.

I also loved all of our group discussions, especially because of the diversity of experiences in our onboarding group. I was immensely blessed by everyone's honest sharings!

@Everyone Thank you SO MUCH for actively participating in the onboarding, you made it such a memorable month for me! Thank you for sharing openly both your struggles and your insights. I have learnt as much from you as I've learnt from our session leaders and training videos!

@Ate Mich, Thank you for facilitating the onboarding with so much care. I really enjoyed the variety of the asynch work and the various tools we used to share our learnings. You were so encouraging and joyful and it rubbed off on the rest of us. God bless youuu <3

Before the onboarding, I wasn't really sure of what to do or how to start but through the experience I've gained a clearer and more concrete plan of the steps I need to do as well as a glimpse of what I'd be doing once CYA has been established in Lucena

During the onboarding, through out the whole experience, social skills has always been a big part of all the sessions. From establishing relationships to leadership and training others, being able to express and speak confidently plays a big role in every activity we do.
After coming home and being able to present during one of our community assembly, I felt how greatly the onboarding has helped me in that area. I was able to present as short but impactful as time permitted and was able to converse more with members after the session.

that I developed a sense of security and confidence. I felt comfortable to express what I think and not overthink about it much. I felt like I wasn't alone in this and that there is nothing wrong with asking for help.
I enjoyed the whole experience from being in a household and having fellowships to campus work and trainings

Each week for me has been really jam-packed and eventful and I can't think of any other way to take it to the next level as the online sessions has been, in a way, a breather XD

I have an idea on how to start with students and inviting them to community events but I have a hazy plan on how to start things with the schools. So far, we have 1 school expressing their openness to accommodate us and it happened to be a school with not a lot of community kids are in or at least not active enough for me to remember immediately hehe
