Can kids continue with the same electives?  Would it be different group of students?  Would there be an art 1 and adv art like first semester.  Would there be an art 3 for kids who thrive in art during this season.

I think all kids would benefit as long as we don't make it too demanding, but ease something else so that we have the time and energy for in person stuff. ]]> 2020-11-17 00:44:44 UTC https://padlet.com/msdprincipal1/pdm8tb21afay0p8c/wish/929773546 Mr_Raube https://padlet.com/msdprincipal1/pdm8tb21afay0p8c/wish/930572089 I teach math, science, social studies... so I don't have a true on/off week.  Because I get ONE week to teach science, I feel pressured to fit my science (or SS) unit into the 4 day work week, including the review and assessment.  Because we're "trimming" our curric down to the essentials, sometimes it works well.  But if we have a typhoon day or national holiday, it makes for a mighty short week, (which I do not do) and hope that they retain that unit's info & concepts for a week until we continue again. It only happens when I "flip-flop" with the science and social studies.  I hope I'm being clear.  However, the students are very resilient and managing okay when I have to pause a unit and continue a full week later. I probably wouldn't use the word "thriving" though.
