I was born on December 27, 1997, in Bogota, Colombia. I am the oldest daughter of very young parents.
When my mother got pregnant, she was eighteen years old and my father was sixteen, so I was the daughter of very young parents at the time.

School

I entered school when I was four years old, and from then on, I always studied there until I finished. It was a Catholic school, so I always had the religious theme very present in my life.

First Love

I remember that at school I started dancing at a very young age, which led me to fall in love with dance and art.
I think it was from there that I started in the world of dance, which led me to make it one of my biggest dreams today.

The happiest day

The happiest day of my life was precisely dancing, because it was the first day that I performed on a giant stage full of many people. I remember being so nervous that I forgot the whole choreography and had to improvise. My parents were with me, and my grandmother shouted my name from the stairs to give me support. It was a very nice day, and from then on, I wasn't afraid anymore.

Unhappy moment

After dancing for many years, I had an accident in one of the presentations. I was 14 years old when my dance partner dropped me, and I had a fracture in my knee.

I could not dance again for a long time, which made me very unhappy, and I lost a scholarship to leave the country. It was a very sad time, I felt very lonely and had a lot of anger.

Until I was able to understand that everything happens for a reason.

The return

When I was 17 years old, I tried again and continued dancing, but I didn't have the same level, and I wasn't so happy.

I did well; I visited several countries dancing, but on one of the trips I had a fall and I hurt my ankle. I was dancing, and the stage had a hole, and I fell. I had to get up, and I could not continue dancing. I was in Mexico, and I couldn't do much, so I didn't enjoy it very much because I couldn't walk.
It was horrible because I felt sad and helpless about not being able to enjoy the trip.

Favorite trip

One of my favorite trips was to Argentina. I did it with my dance academy, and I enjoyed it very much.
We danced a lot. I remember feeling very happy because that was my first trip out of the country. I was with my friends, and we went to a dance contest.
It was great, and it was another one of my favorite days. I was very excited to meet and dance in front of many people.

Broken heart

One of the saddest days of my life was the death of my grandmother. It was 4 years ago, and I was working and teaching at a school.
I remember my mom telling me about it, and my heart fell apart. I cried, and I felt unhappy, sad, and confused.
I could not say goodbye to her as much as I wanted to.

Today I am trying to create my story again with my partner, going back to dancing and teaching dancing.
I feel good and happy; I think it is an opportunity to do something beautiful, and I feel grateful to life and to God.
