To a dualist perspective this would be the most fundamental truth. However, we are molded by the others so inherently we cannot escape what has already been thrown. Indiviuality is still influenced by the past but, we think in relation to our future selves. Perhpas conflict is immenient and we can choose to fall back, or become authentic and fight in our alienating.
