Nick - Nicks work in the biology department makes him a symbol of human biology and reproduction which is revealed later with Martha.

Martha - Martha's driving motivation is that she likes seeing George depressed and likes to call him out. She would expose him and then play the victim. She also keeps others in peril by starting arguments and conflict and encouraging the consumption of alcohol.

George - George was always so bitter because he is stuck in a terrible marriage with a made up son, once he kills the son he comforts Martha and it is clear that this burden has been lifted off of them.

Honey - She contributes to the plot by being intoxicated and saying things she shouldn't say that further the plot by allowing George to continue telling stories and making Nick take care of her. She also somehow lost her child and this affects Nick because he only married her to take care of the child and now he does not have the child to be there for.

Conflict - The true conflict is that George and Martha play this weird game of having an imaginary son and this causes conflict between themselves and sparks tension with Nick and Honey that later lead to more conflict. The conflict is resolved once the son is "Dead" and Martha and George now have nothing that holds them together.

Nick's athletic ability and work in the Biology department affects other characters. Nick is young and new, while George who is in the History department would feel older. In the movie Nick was like a threat to George.

Honey contributes to the plot because she was once pregnant but lost the baby. Martha and George has a imaginary son and have problems in their relationship. Honey lost the baby and doesn't want to end up like Martha George. It creates the idea of similarity and what could happen in Honey and Nicks future.

The true conflict is that George and Martha plays games. Their relationship isn't healthy and they verbally abuse each other. Martha brings up a game that is Martha's and George's son and the night goes wrong and theirs conflict. All the characters contribute because Honey and Nick could become like Martha and George.

His true nature is that he is an angry and violent person.
Nick: Nick's athletic build makes him attractive to the women and causes jealousy in George, and his work in the biology department mirrors him since he's new and young and has much potential unlike George who is old and washed up.
Honey: Honey like the other characters gather exposition, but unlike the other characters she figures out what is going on and tries to prevent the inevitable outcomes of everyone else's interactions.
Martha: Martha's motivation is the fact that she enjoys the suffering of others; also known as Schadenfreude; Martha keeps people in peril by disturbing them and making them uncomfortable.

Honey - Through Honey's actions we can see Martha and George's true intentions, showing the unhealthy relationship between Martha and George. the absence of a child affects Nick because not only does he want a child, that was the whole reason he got with Honey
Nick - Martha is affected by Nick in a romantic way, mostly thanks to his athletic looks and muscles. George feels threatened by Nick, he's young, and in the Biology department. Honey gets defensive around Nick, this causes Nick to not really be there for her in certain situations.
Conflict - The main conflict is the unhealthy relationship between Martha and George, aka the son. This all started when Martha brought it up. George, of course, knows this game and the whole night just becomes crazy because of them mentioning the son.
George - He is very bitter due to their unhealthy relationship and made up games. Because he is trying to keep the son secret he has become bitter and cut off. As soon as the son was mentioned he wouldn't drop having Martha feel bad. George's true nature is he always gets is way. He is calmly insane about it, he does the action in an insane way, but he is surprisingly calm with it. Once the son is dead he is once again calm, but when he was trying to kill the son he went crazy until he got his way.
