At first, I thought it would be a struggle to learn a new language. After this class, I realized it was much easier than I've expected.

2.  The most important part for me was being engaged in the lesson. Especially learning songs. I'm musical person, so to be able to learn while doing what I love makes things so much easier.

3. The most interesting thing that happened in the class was when we had to preform a rhyme and I brought my guitar while heather brought her violin.

The organization this class had will really help me in the future because I will be able to split apart my work so I can understand new material. The most interesting thing were the songs! 一. In this class, I was impressed about how we were able to learn multiple characters in 中文。At the beginning of the year, I was perplexed about how we were going to learn all these complex but basic characters. 

二. While I continue to learn Chinese in the next school year, learning the basic daily phrases and radicals will help me the most. 

三. The most interesting thing that happened in the class was when we celebrated Chinese New Year! We were able to emerge ourselves in traditional Chinese culture and activities.

你很好中文老师！！You were a fantastic teacher and I hope to have you again next year in tenth grade. I have simply learned so much about both the Chinese language and culture. I cannot express how many times I have been using the skills we learned in class in the outside world (when we visit China Town or relatives/friends and when I watch C-dramas and C-pop). I will forever hold your teachings dear to my heart and memories. 我爱你！谢谢你～

This class really impressed me because before I started this class I thought that there was no way I was going to remember how to write or speak in Chinese.  I know a lot more than I thought I would.

2. Knowing the characters will help me learn next year. The radicals in characters I already know will help me understand and remember new characters with the same radicals.

3. The most important thing that happened in class was learning the pinyin letters. If I didn't learn them I would pronounce many Chinese words incorrectly.

Before I took this class I thought Chinese didn't make sense but know Chinese makes more sense then any other language.
