What does “love yourself” mean? Loving ones’ self simply means self-respect. It is the traditional virtue in China. The ancient chinese people used “out of the mud without staining” to metaphor gentleman’s incorrupt characters; and one takes on the color of one's company to exhort people stay away from evil. Self-respect is the affirmation of your value. A person who knows how to love themselves will be more appeal to other people and gets others to understand you more. Self-respect does not mean narcissism, self-affirmation and appreciation from your own respect, it is based on the your reflection of the true value of life.

My faith is very shallow and not as deep as most of my classmates. I do not know how to learn loving and respecting yourself. However, in the religion class, through continuously exploring new areas and relating them to my faith, through sharing and discussing in class with classmates and Ms. Katie, through digging my inner thoughts and problems, I gradually understand what is god, what is my true belief.

He gave up many things, and taught these gang members wholeheartedly, and made their faith become more positive. Actually the father Gregory Boyle is just teaching gang members how to love themselves. He made these people understand the true meaning of life and have a vision for the future, so they can live positive with respecting others and themselves.

My theme is human trafficking, which is one of the ten major social problems in the world. Human trafficking is a form of modern slavery more than billion-dollar criminal - a industry that deprives the entire world of the freedom of people. Victims of trafficking 20.9 million are either being subjected to forced labor, prostitution or being scammed by unfair contracts of employment or being severely exploited and their fundamental human rights are totally deprived. And they all share one essential experience: the loss of freedom.When I was doing the search process, I found a very big problem. The reason why there are so many victims is because people are not loving themselves and having a good attitude towards life. Many girls just simply give up their lives on the sweet words of some strangers. They don't know that this is actually a trap, and they are finally caught up to places they don't know. What I want to say is that if we can learn to love ourselves and cherish our lives in such a case, then the victims of human trafficking will become less.
