Camp changes

How can we support and decentralize all of the work and changes that are happening around camps? What will be done to help figure out materials cost cuts by the department for those who are not BR/TM/JC? What is the plan for ensuring that work doesn't fall on just a few people?

IMLS Climate & Equity Data - Farzad

We've invited folks from the IMLS project to share their preliminary results with us on 10/21. There will be an all-staff session sometime in November, but bringing this data to us earlier allows us to integrate it into our climate change CTS work a bit sooner.

Omena has invited staff from the National Park Service and the Mississippi Park Connection, our partners on Big River Journey and other projects, to join a future Monday meeting. We are hoping to have time later in November.

CTS Discussion

We're holding time on Dec 2nd to review how the six CTS section groups are doing. If you have questions for the department as a whole, plan to bring these to this meeting. We'll have at least 40 minutes for this conversation.

Grant Ideation

We're holding most of our time together on November 18th for a grants brainstorm. This will inform and help develop our ideas ahead of the museum-wide Government Grants Ideation on December 5th. Folks from CRC are invited to join us on the 18th starting at 11 am. If there are other folks from across the museum that you want to invite, please do. We will be in person in Classrooms 5-6, so there won't be a convenient Google Meet option for remote participation, unfortunately.

Tracy reached out to Karla and I this week about some small folding carts that they don't use. I use this style of cart every day and am so grateful for the consideration - adding these carts to the library is already making a huge difference. So grateful!
