1. TEACHERS - Must be effective and put students first.  Students need teachers to guide them in order to learn and succeed.
2. ADMINISTRATION - To support teachers and students for student achievement in ways that the teacher cannot.   
3. CURRICULUM - Must be challenging for students.  The curriculum is the basis of learning and student success.

The professional development should use instructional strategies that are not only informative, but are also engaging, interesting, hands-on and fun. They should provide opportunities for practice, making mistakes, feedback and correction. Just as teachers are expected to provide these elements in activities for their own students to ensure learning, adults need these activities in their learning too. That would be the most efficient way for me to see how my school is performing overall. Although educators are the experts, parents should be involved in the education of their children. They should have a say in what they want and need for their children. Students also have a right to voice their wants and needs for themselves.
