  • Traditional Chinese customs and ideas have influenced many people, leading to their conservative character. They cannot keep up with the pace and ideas of the new era women's. 
  • Contemporary women's attitudes towards marriage in the new era have a huge difference with these conservative people. So some online users' incomprehension of women turned into malicious comments.
  • Long-standing gender inequality. Many men are dissatisfied with women competing with them in the workplace. They believe that women's abilities even threaten their social status. 
  • The development of Internet has given more people platforms and opportunities to express themselves freely. In particular, the "Anonymous Speaking" affordance of Weibo makes many users disregard the harm causing by inappropriate words and deeds towards unmarried women over 30 years old.

    But the point that "women should get married before 30" is obviously wrong and should not be promoted. All the women have their own value and ability.
