The first kind of food I want to tell you about is called Noodles. There are so many kinds of noodles, like noodles with soybean paste, noodles with gravy and spicy noodles. Noodles originated in China and have a history of more than 4,000 years. Chinese people eat longevity noodles at the end of every birthday party, because the noodles are long and symbolize a long life. When eating noodles, a whole noodle should be swallowed at one time, neither chopsticks can be used to clip it off, nor can the mouth bite it off. Noodles are my favorite food! Now, I'm going to tell you about my the second kind of food…dumplings.

 

Next up, the food I want to introduce is Dumplings. They have a history of more than 1,800 years. There are many kinds of dumplings like boiled dumplings, steamed dumplings and fried dumplings. Dumplings are not only a delicious Chinese food, but also contain the Chinese national culture. They are the delicious snack of every family at ordinary times and the necessary food on the eve of the Chinese New Year. Let's talk about the third food now…Rice Cake.

 

Now for the last type of food, rice cake. Rice cake come in athree colors: red, yellow and white, symbolizing gold and silver. Nian Nian Gao is a kind of rice cake eaten over Chinese New Year. So, that's all about these three kinds of Chinese food. I hope you'll love them when you try them.
