Environment

- Keeping the environment clean and green is vital. Nobody wants to live in a dirty, smelly and insect-infested environment.
- There are many ways to protect our environment. One of them is to practise the 5Rs - Recycle, Reduce, Reuse, Replace, Refuse.
Recycle: Recycling can reduce the amount of wastes in the landfills. If everybody sorts their rubbish into three different categories - Plastics, Paper, Others - before disposing them into the recycling rubbish chute, I believe there will be a huge reduction in the amount of rubbish thrown out.
Reduce: Cutting down on the usage of precious resources can also protect the environment. Water, electricity are some the precious resources.

Water Usage: To cut down on usage of water, you should take a short shower for 5 to 15 minutes. Or, you can wash your vegetables in a basin of water instead of washing them under running water. After which, use the remaining water in the basin to water the plants.Electricity Usage: To reduce usage of electricity, you should turn off any electrical appliances when they are not in use. Do not turn on the lights during daytime; natural light from the Sun is enough.
If everyone does their part in reducing the usage of precious resources, there will be a smaller amount of precious resources used up.
Reuse: Reusing can reduce amount of wastage. Reuse bags until it is worn out before buying a new one. Also, you can use your creative mind to transform used plastic bottles into something else new and usable!
Replace: Replacing can be something useful in fact. Why not use bio-degradable(something that can be decomposed as nutrients for plants after use)bags instead of using normal plastic bag when shopping?
Refuse: Refuse all types of materials that harm the environment. Do not try to encourage others to use harmful pollutant materials.

I believe we all have a part in protecting our environment. Let us keep our environment clean and green!

Considerate Society

- A considerate society is a society when people do their part to make the living environment better for others to adapt to.

- Some considerate actions are giving up your seats to others such as the injured, the elderly, the pregnant and the parent and baby.
- I once saw a teenager giving up his seat to a pregnant lady in the MRT, also know as Mass Rapid Transit. The lady thanked him and offered him some money for what he had done. He took the money and thanked the lady as well. In my opinion, if I were in his place, I would kindly reject the offer because when we should not think of the benefits we can gain but think of the most convenient and fastest way to help someone solve a problem.
- People nowadays are inconsiderate. They pretend to sleep or pretend not to see someone who needs a seat, or they just leave litter around, makng the environment uglier. I am disgusted by their behaviour. They should not be doing all those because it does not help the environment. They ought to be disciplined severely by their parents or someone who they are afraid of.

Let us be considerate to our neighbourhood and the world!

Hobbies / Interests

- Everyone has a different hobby or interest. Some of them may have common hobbies. There are are many diffrent hobbies and interests in the whole world.
- My favourite hobby is playing online games. Online games are free to play, plus they are quite interesting and fun, especially in [ADVENTURE] category games.
In [ADVENTURE] category online games, there is like a story mode. From that story, you get to play in different areas you never see before in your entire life, and also get to play with new updated stuff!
My favourite online game is <Murder Mystery 2>. The exact reason for my favourite onine game is 'Mystery'. The game is like a detective game, where you try to figure out who is the murderer, and try to survive from the murderer through out the limited time given in the game. The special thing about this game is you can use your brain to figure out who is the murderer. You can even do the most stupid thing - ask people like you are interrogating them. Most likely you will get killed if you are interrogating a murderer.
This game does not allow telling who is the murderer. What I mean is that if you got killed by the murderer and you know who did it, you will not be able to tell the name of the murderer to the survivors. This makes the game fair, naturally why many people have liked and played this game.
What is the adventurous thing about <Murder Mystery 2> is that you explore around new maps, and get to obtain different perks like the 'Shapeshifter'perk. The 'Shapeshifter' perk allows the murderer to change himself into someone else. There is the advantage for the murderer. If everyone knew [Frankie] is the murderer, [Frankie] can Shapeshift into [Jordon], the innocent.
- I have passion in computer gaming. I hope I can be selected for the E-Sports Arsenal competiton. E-Sports Arsenal is basically an event whereby selected participants are to challenge opponents to a certain game, with their teammates. My favourite E-Sports Arsenal online game is <Mobile Legends>. The game basically is a 5 versus 5 mobile game. You choose your own character for that match, and then get ready to challenge your opponents with your teammates.
I always choose a girl called Miya. It is not because of her appearance but because of her skills. Her skills are like very powerful if you buy the right gear and use her skills at the right time. I always have the precise moment of victory and I actually have not lost a single match due to opponents destroying my team base. I lost due to people who had surrendered because they thought they could not win already. I was disappointed. They should have perservered! To achieve our goals, we must be determined and not let anything block our path to our goal! It seems they never really learn that.

A Healthy Lifestyle

- Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is vital because a healthy lifestyle leads to a better life.
- Exercising daily and eating more healthy food keeps you healthy and fit.
- Healthy Diet: It is not difficult at all to maintain a healthy diet. Eat less fast food and snacks, and also drink less fizzy drinks. Such food contain a great amount of salt, sugar. Eat too much, and you may suffer serious high blood pressure, high blood sugar and high blood cholestrol risk, which all add up to serious obesity. Instead, we should eat more vegetables and fruits. We should only eat up to two servings of fruits.
Water: Water is important in our body too. Drink at least 8 cups of water daily to prevent dehydration. In fact, your urine colour also can tell you whether if you have been drinking enough water. The lighter your urine colour, the more water you have been drinking. If the urine colour is very, very dark, seek a doctor for help immediately.
Exercise: Another way to improve your health is to exercise. When you do, it helps to burn calories. Swimming is a good way of exercise. Swimming improves your lung capacity, and also strengthen your heart. Jogging and running can strengthen your leg muscles. Sit-ups and push-ups help to strengthen your core, your upper body and your back.
Sleep: Your brain does most of the thinking for you during school or anywhere else when doing work or playing sports. Therefore, they deserve a well rest during nightime. Otherwise, the brain will not be able to function well, resulting in a unability to focus in class. Try to sleep for at least 9 to 12 hours per day.

Honesty

- As the saying goes, "Honesty is the best policy", everyone should be honest, as it is one of the most basic requirements when communicating or interacting with one another.
- An honest behaviour will result in more people willing to interact with you, at the same time increasing the number of friends you have. Also, when you encounter difficulties, your friends will be obliged to lend you a helping hand.
- I think that honesty is vital as if we are not honest, no one can trust anyone. Hence, from an early age, we must learn to treat others honestly. For example, if we see a wallet lying on the floor and you do not know whose it is, instead of checking its contents or taking its contents, we should give it to the police or teachers and let them deal with it.]- I believe if everyone is honest, occurings of misunderstandings will decrease. If we all trust one another, we can all live in harmony, and this can help in the development of the country.

Public Transport : Advantages & Disadvantages

- There are different public transports in Singapore. Each one has its own advantage and disadvanatge.
- The advantage of taking public buses is that it will be more environmental-friendly. There will be less harmful gases in the air if everyone uses public buses since they can carry a lot of people, aat the same time reducing number of traffic jams.
- The disadvantage is time. You can waste a lot of time waiting for the bus that has been stuck in the traffic jam for example, or you have just missed it for a minute and now you have to wait for twenty more minutes. If the weather is bad, the nightmare is even worse. You are late for work or school, or lectures, or you are late for your exam, but you are waiting in the rain with the hopes that the next one is yours.
- Do not belittle the fact that these places are heaven for the robbers. You will not feel anything on the bus, but you will feel something is missing after you get off of it. So, one rule – never put your money or your cell phones in your pockets! Keep them in a bag with a safety zipper and keep an eye on it.
- Another thing that can happen to you on the bus is that you can get also smashed with the doors, because the drivers are not always paying attention at the passengers.
- The advantage of taking the MRT, also known as Mass Rapid Transit, is that you will be free from ground traffic. It is also fast if you go for a long distance, reducing amount of time wasted.
- The disadvantages of taking MRT is that during busy hours. Traffic commute could be a pain sometimes. Also, there is a confusing branch line even for local Singaporeans at Promenade yellow line.

Helping the less fortunate

- In the world, there are many places and areas where very poor people lived in. They are in need of help. We help them not because we can gain benefits from it, but because of our care for them. They are humans, just like us, after all.
- There are many ways to help the less fortunate. One of them is donating to the poor.
- Donating: Donating is a very simple way to help the less fortunate. You can donate items such as water-filled water bottles, food, money, stationery and much more.
Once, we had a Flea Mart. The Flea Mart is actually an event whereby pupils were to use cash to buy things sold during recess in the school canteen. The money accumulated is used to buy artificial kidneys that cost ten dollars for the people who suffer from kidney failure in the NKFC, also known as National Kidney Foundation Centre. Weeks after the Flea Mart event was over, the school announced that they had accumulated oer three hundred and sixty dollars. I was glad I was able to help by buying the things sold. At least, I was part of helping the NKFC.
- Some people help just for rewards, while some are just obliged to help. If I were a rich person, I would donate money to the less fortunate. However, stingy rich people do not donate money. Their behaviour is very unacceptable. In fact, I would tell him about why we should help the less fortunate, and then tell him to imagine himself as one of the many less fortunate and feel how it is like to not get any help.

Crime Prevention

- Crime is a form of doing something against the law of the country. Some crimes can be very dangerous and harmful to victims. Therefore, we should prevent crime to stop criminals from hurting the victims.
- Do not turn a blind eye to crime in your community. Report a crime if you witness it or something you suspect might be a crime. Agree to testify if needed.

- Another way is to participate in crime prevention projects. This is one of the biggest factors. By having residents actively involved in community crime prevention efforts, they become a "force multiplier" for local law enforcement, giving them more eyes on the street.
- Do not just follow your local laws, but defend them. You can help prevent crime through community policing. Although sometimes misperceived, community policing simply means actively helping to prevent crimes by following the law and not interfering with the local government. Help prevent crime such as violence, vandalism and other nuisance crimes before it happens, in a way that promotes your local laws and government.
- Set up a neighborhood watch or a community patrol that works in collaboration with local police. A trusted neighbor who keeps a vigilant eye on your home is one of the best crime deterrents.
- Build a partnership with police focused on solving problems instead of reacting to crisis. Make it possible for neighbors to report suspicious activity or crimes without fear of retaliation.
- Clean up the neighborhood! Organizing a neighborhood clean up is great way to get people out of the house, and working together around a common cause. Buildings with broken windows, abandoned cars, and even litter sends a message to criminals that the community has become complacent. Call the city public works department and ask for help cleaning up.
- Connect people in the community, especially youths, to activities or programs that help them find positive ways to spend their spare time. After school programs, tutoring centers, part-time work, and volunteer opportunities go a long way toward keeping youths and adolescents away from negative influences.
- Get creative. Ask your local city council to pass an anti-noise ordinance, update housing codes, and include drug-free clauses in rental agreements. These small actions help to create an inhospitable environment for criminals, and will hopefully cause them to leave on their own.
