Group Justification: Children aged between 13 14 are exposed to unique challenges orchestrated by the developmental changes they undergo. Hormonal shifts, social, and parental forces, and school pressures are some of the factors that pose challenges to young individuals. In retrospect, the group aims at providing guidance, and assistance to such children to enable them circumnavigate the complications associated with puberty. 
Group Purpose: the group aims to help young people develop healthy life patterns and circumnavigate the pressures they encounter in life. Besides, the group will empower young people through providing motivation for them to deal with challenges they face more decisively, and effectively. 
Group Rationale: the group is necessary because it will reinforce the efforts of parents, and other social systems to develop a healthy adolescent generation. The group will offer moral and intellectual support to children thus enabling them to tackle the unique challenges they face more effectively.

I will read the confidentially agreement to the group and address any concerns or questions that the group members may have.

I will provide fun group activities and then homework to think about and play with over the week to bring back to the next session for discussion. 

*How will you check in with group members to gauge progress throughout the group?

I will provide fun questionnaires to gain a better understanding of where my group is at in their progress. 

*What is your plan for group closure?  

For closing I will have the group members provide what they feel is the most valuable item they discovered or learned about in group that day so that they can leave confident that they learned something new and valuable.

*Will you monitor/explore how group members are feeling about the group ending?  

Yes, I will provide questions on my questionnaire when I am gauging the progress of the group.
