Formed in the United States, Los Angeles, California, the band Red Hot Chili Peppers began its activities in 1983. The band gained fame worldwide by mixing elements of traditional funk with punk rock and psychedelic guitars and their first lineup with the name of Red Hot Chili Peppers was composed by Anthony Kiedis (vocalist), Flea (bass), Hillel Slovak (guitarist) and Jack Irons (drummer). Another striking factor in RHCPs was the exotic presentations and irreverent clips. Once, the members of the band made a show completely naked, wearing socks to hide their genitals (Socks on Cocks). There was also the episode in which Flea made a bizarre participation in a Nirvana show in Brazil, playing the Smells Like Teen Spirit solo with a trumpet.

The band that originated the RHCP came in 1979, when members were still attending Fairfax High School in Hollywood. At age 15, school friends, Michael Balzary, Slovak Hillel and Jack Irons, joined their musical predilections and formed the band Anthym. Anthony Kiedis was a big fan of this band and was part of California's circle of musicians. In 1981, Flea left Anthym and joined the Fear, punk rock band in LA. Anthym, now called What Is This ?, won Kiedis as lead singer and continued with Hillel and Irons.

Nirvana was an American rock band formed by lead singer and guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic in Aberdeen, Washington, in 1987. Nirvana went through a succession of drummers, the longest-lasting and best-known being Dave Grohl, who joined in 1990. Despite releasing only three full-length studio albums in their seven-year career, Nirvana has come to be regarded as one of the most influential and important alternative bands in history. Though the band dissolved in 1994 after the death of Cobain, their music maintains a popular following and continues to influence modern rock and roll culture.

In the late 1980s, Nirvana established itself as part of the Seattle grunge scene, releasing its first album, Bleach, for the independent record label Sub Pop in 1989. They developed a sound that relied on dynamic contrasts, often between quiet verses and loud, heavy choruses. After signing to major label DGC Records, Nirvana found unexpected success with "Smells Like Teen Spirit", the first single from the band's second album Nevermind (1991). Nirvana's sudden success widely popularized alternative rock, and Cobain found himself referred to in the media as the "spokesman of a generation", with Nirvana considered the "flagship band" of Generation X.[1] Nirvana's third studio album, In Utero (1993), released to critical acclaim, featured an abrasive, less mainstream sound and challenged the group's audience.

Nirvana's active career ended following the death of Cobain in 1994, but various posthumous releases have been issued since, overseen by Novoselic, Grohl, and Cobain's widow Courtney Love. Since its debut, the band has sold over 25 million records in the United States alone, and over 75 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling bands of all time.[2][3] Nirvana was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014, in its first year of eligibility

She has been the lead singer of Guns N 'Roses since its founding, and guest vocalist for AC / DC since April 17, 2016. He became known as the lead singer of hard rock band Guns N 'Roses, with whom he achieved popularity, success and recognition in the late 1980s and early 1990s before disappearing from the public eye for several years. On April 17, 2016 was announced as guest vocalist band AC / DC. AC / DC made it clear that it would not be an official member, but a guest member to perform only a few shows.

With a childhood marked by aggressions, both verbal and physical, Rose discovered at the age of 17 the name of his real father, resulting in a troubled adolescence, leading him to be arrested many times even before his adulthood. In 1983, he moved to Los Angeles with his childhood friend Izzy Stradlin, forming together shortly afterwards the band Hollywood Rose, that later merged with the group LA Guns, being born of this joint the Guns N 'Roses, that quickly gained notoriety and achieved commercial success with the albums Appetite for Destruction, Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II. Conflicts and disagreements caused members to leave the group, leaving only Rose today as the only remaining member of the group's lineup.

AC/DC's mammoth power chord roar became one of the most influential hard rock sounds of the '70s, and is now one of the defining sounds of rock and metal. In its own way, it was a reaction against the pompous art rock and lumbering arena rock of the early '70s. AC/DC's rock was minimalist -- no matter how huge and bludgeoning their guitar chords were, there was a clear sense of space and restraint. Combined with Bon Scott's larynx-shredding vocals, the band spawned countless imitators over the next two decades and enjoyed commercial success well into the 2000s, scoring their biggest hits after Brian Johnson replaced the departed Scott.

AC/DC were formed in 1973 in Australia by guitarist Malcolm Young after his previous band, the Velvet Underground, collapsed (Young's band has no relation to the seminal American group). With his younger brother Angus serving as lead guitarist, the band played some gigs around Sydney. Angus was only 15 years old at the time and his sister suggested that he should wear his school uniform on-stage; the look became the band's visual trademark. While still in Sydney, the original lineup featuring singer Dave Evans cut a single called "Can I Sit Next to You," with ex-Easybeats Harry Vanda and George Young (Malcolm and Angus' older brother) producing.

The band moved to Melbourne the following year, where drummer Phil Rudd (formerly of the Coloured Balls) and bassist Mark Evans joined the lineup. The band's chauffeur, Bon Scott, became the lead vocalist when singer Dave Evans refused to go on-stage. Previously, Scott had been vocalist for the Australian prog rock bands Fraternity and the Valentines. More importantly, he helped cement the group's image as brutes -- he had several convictions on minor criminal offenses and was rejected by the Australian Army for being "socially maladjusted." And AC/DC were socially maladjusted. Throughout their career they favored crude double entendres and violent imagery, all spiked with a mischievous sense of fun.

The group released two albums -- High Voltage and T.N.T. -- in Australia in 1974 and 1975. Material from the two records comprised the 1976 release High Voltage in the U.S. and U.K.; the group also toured both countries. Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap followed at the end of the year. In the fall of 1977, AC/DC released Let There Be Rock, which became their first album to chart in the U.S. Mark Evans left the band soon after, with Cliff Williams taking his place. Powerage, released in spring of 1978, expanded their audience even further, thanks in no small part to their dynamic live shows (which were captured on 1978's live If You Want Blood You've Got It). What really broke the doors down for the band was the following year's Highway to Hell, which hit number 17 in the U.S. and number eight in the U.K., becoming the group's first million-seller.
AC/DC's train was derailed when Bon Scott died on February 19, 1980. The official coroner's report stated he had "drunk himself to death." In March, the band replaced Scott with Brian Johnson. The following month, the band recorded Back in Black, which would prove to be its biggest album, selling over ten million copies in the U.S. alone. For the next few years, the band was one of the largest rock bands in the world, with For Those About to Rock We Salute You topping the charts in the U.S. In 1983, Rudd left the band after the recording of Flick of the Switch; he was replaced by Simon Wright.
With Flick of the Switch, AC/DC's commercial standing began to slip, and they weren't able to reverse their slide until 1990's The Razor's Edge, which spawned the hit "Thunderstruck." While not the commercial powerhouse they were during the late '70s and early '80s, the '90s saw AC/DC maintain their status as a top international concert draw. In the fall of 1995, their 16th album, Ballbreaker, was released. Produced by Rick Rubin, the album received some of the most positive reviews of AC/DC's career; it also entered the American charts at number four and sold over a million copies in its first six months of release. Stiff Upper Lip followed in early 2000 with similar results. AC/DC signed a multi-album deal with Sony the following year that resulted in a slew of reissues and DVDs, and they returned to the studio in 2008 for Black Ice, an all-new collection of songs that was followed by the group's first world tour since 2001. Two years later, the band's music was featured heavily in the action movie Iron Man 2, and a compilation was released in conjunction with the film under the title Iron Man 2.
As AC/DC began work on a new album with producer Brendan O'Brien in 2014, they announced that Malcolm Young was suffering from dementia and had left the band; his nephew Stevie Young took his place at the recording sessions and the accompanying 40th anniversary tour, and subsequently joined the group full-time. Just prior to the December release of Rock or Bust, drummer Phil Rudd was arrested under charges of attempting to procure a murder, threatening to kill, and possession of cannabis and methamphetamine. Although the arranged murder charges were dropped, the other charges remained and the drummer's future with the band was uncertain. Nevertheless, AC/DC marched forward with the release of Rock or Bust and plans for a tour in 2015. Two years later, Malcolm Young died in November 2017 at the age of 64.

Ron McGovney (bass) and Dave Mustaine (guitar) come to complete the time. Two years later, Cliff Burton joins the band as the new bassist. It is recorded to the first demo, No Life'Til Leather That contains seven songs.

Mustaine leaves and Metallica heads to New York, where LP is written, with Kirk Hammett (who plays Exodus) on guitar. Kill 'Em All is a band that has speed, energy and something more than the bands of the game after that. In 1984 comes the second, and much, album, Ride the Lightning, which is 50 weeks in the Top 200 of Billboard, which proved that Metallica came to stay, not just another heavy metal band.

Master of Puppets, which is one million copies in the USA. But something happens: during a European first round, a band suffers an accident. Which drove them to the skid over the ice, on a dirt road, with an instant death of Cliff Burton on September 27, 1986. Despite the loss, the Metallic decides to continue and, a few weeks later, find a new bass player: Jason Newsted (ex-Flotsam & Jetsam), which fits perfectly into the sound of the band.

Metallica returned to Europe in 1987 to show what had just been postponed because of Cliff's death. Lars' garage is converted into a rehearsal studio, where a Garage Days band is Revisited, full of covers (like I Am Evil from Metallica's favorite band Diamond Head). Later this year, they play at the Donington Festival, the original Rock Monsters. Untitled: Cliff 'In Everything, a video tribute to the bassist, and the fourth LP: ... And Justice For All, which breaks sales records, leading a band to a world revolution (which, thanks to the good God, included Brazil , at 89).

The first album of the band was LP Lonesome Crow of 1972, with the brothers Rudolf and Michael Schenker in the guitars.
