every time I ride in the car to go somewhere I am contributing to global warming because my car emits greenhouse gasses which trap the heat on earth making the climate warmer. In the text the author states, "Instead of traveling in a car, use public transportation, walk, or ride your bike when you can. Biking or walking 10 miles each day instead of riding in a car can save up to 1.9 tons of carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere every year." (National geograpic, 14). This proves my answer because it shows that cars emit carbon dioxide which contributes to climate change.

That energy the printers use to print the bills polutes the earth because there pluged up and using electricity. That electricity comes from a factory that makes all this bad gasses and air from what its perducing and causes polution. The end.

I feel that some of everyday actions that I do are contributing to global warming are when I go to school in the car, it is contributing to global warming because the car emits strong doses of greenhouse gasses, which hold in the heat on Earth making the climate warmer. I feel that the trucks and cars are contributing to global warming. I know this because based on what I read, "Some of the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere are caused by humans. Whenever we burn anything, such as gasoline in our cars and trucks" (Author, paragraph 6). Finally, I feel the way that if we tell our friends and family about this stuff, they will help to stop contributing to global warming.

By: Emily White

My grandma's house is close to my house. Usually on the weekends, I'll go over there and skate or do puzzles or watch movies with her. When my mom drives me there to spend time with my grandma or my grandma picks me up, it emits harmful greenhouse gases and waists car gas. When I go over to my grandma's house by riding my bike, skateboarding, or just simply walking, it helps our environment greatly. Less greenhouse gases are all we need.

Also every day when I do the dishes I use a lot of water to wash the massive pile of dishes. But when I brush my teeth I make sure to turn the water off so I don't waste water I don't need. Usually the AC or heat isn't on in my house so I'm also wearing hoodies all the time, which wastes lest power and causes lest pollution.

Your daily actions contribute to global warming more than we think. In our day-to-day life we do things like cook food, drive to places, and some of us work. While these seem to be harmless actions, they all have one thing in common they contribute to greenhouse gasses. When doing things like this it creates CO2 (carbon dioxide) which has the property of being able to trap heat and when it reaches the ozone layer though it gets trapped meaning the earth gets warmer this is called the greenhouse effect. According to the web site NASA space place not all greenhouse gasses are bad and some of them are very important to our survival like the ozone layer it destroys pollution there's also an ozone layer in the stratosphere that destroys UV rays. Back to our we contribute to it though, whenever we use electricity like charging your phone or using the microwave all that electricity comes from a place called a power plant that burns fossil fuels. But there still hope you can do things to stop this like biking to school to instead to turning on the heater when it's cold put on a jacket. Simple things like this can helps put a end to the rising global warming problem our world is facing.

When I leave for school, I keep my phone/ iPad plugged in. This causes power usage and use of greenhouse energies. In the website National Geographic it says, "such as plugging in devices, driving cars, and cooling homes - often rely on sources such as natural gas, oil, and coal" This shows that it is bad for the atmosphere. We know this because we can infer that relying on natural gas, oil, and coal is dangerous for the environment. So, next time, its good to leave it unplugged if it is at full battery.

Another reason that leaving something like my phone plugged in is that it causes pollution. When using things like greenhouse gases, it makes CO2 (carbon dioxide) so it's better to limit use on those things.

Most of my daily actions contributes to global warming. Some of these actions are, riding to school on a bus, forgetting to close a door, and not turning off the lights. These things create greenhouse gasses like carbon dioxide and methane. To help reduce global warming I can ride to school on a bike, remember to turn off unused lights, close open doors, and recycle. It is important to do these things because our atmosphere is warming up. This is because of greenhouse gasses (listed above). These harmful gasses trap heat in our atmosphere, which leads to devastating things. Some examples of this are melting ice caps and rising sea levels. According to Nasa kids, the ozone layer traps these greenhouse gasses into earth, preventing escape. Because of this, the earth is continuously warming. If we don't pay attention to this now, bigger problems will occur. This includes rising sea levels, melting ice caps, and extinction in several animal species. So, it is important to pay close attention to these problems now before they become larger. Thank you for reading this writing on global warming. Remember to review the solutions above so you can learn how to help.

-Carson Harris

Whenever someone drives a short distance, it emits harmful gasses polluting the air and contributes to global warming. In know this because in the passages it gives many examples of this like, "When CO2 and other greenhouse gases trap heat that would otherwise escape Earth’s atmosphere, the planet’s temperature rises. That’s called global warming" this example is a great reason why we need to try and help the planet by not using many devices on the daily.

An everyday action I do that mitigates global warming is by minimizing energy. I adopt energy-efficient appliances, utilizing public transportation, or opting for walking or biking instead of driving. All these things I do decrease greenhouse gas emissions, which are a major contributor to climate change. "But during the past few hundred years, oil, gas, and coal have powered homes, cars, and factories." This quote shows that cars contribute carbon dioxide which is a cause of climate change. Therefore, showing that my daily actions could have a huge effect on climate change around the world.

Whenever you hop into a car to drive to school or any other short distance, think about how harmful it could be to the environment. The gases that come out of the car are really harmful to the environment. Think about global warming and how the warm air would melt all the ice slabs that polar bears that are soon to be extinct, use to hunt for food. There have been many sightings of drowned and starved polar bears trying to hunt for food. Many polar bears eat their own children to not starve. This means to think about how you can use your time to think about how you are going to get to a place. Instead of using a car, you can use a bike, scooter, or any other thing of transportation instead of using a vehicle that releases gases that are harmful to the environment.

Wasting food, you only eat when you're hungry you don't throw away perfectly good food the last way to producing Global warming is wasting electricity this can be fixed easily by turning off the light when your done don't sleep with your TV on and last is turning of the Fossitt when your done using doing these simple Everday with save our planet I hope you end up doing these simple things!

We can reduce this by using renewable resources and instead of starting your car, you can just ride a bike or walk. These options help reduce the amount of C02 in the atmosphere, which lowers the global warming rate. In conclusion, we shouldnt increase the global warming rate, instead, we should reduce it.

Because it 1 raises the power bill and to can cause fire at oil rigs and power plants because the power plants put too much coal or whatever they are using to make power. also i can walk or bike to places i want to go. Because cars release harm full gases that 1 can cause lung cancer and can also cause globule warming. another thing that you can do is stop using AC as much. this helps because it sucks power out of power plants and releases C02 which causes globule warming.

Multiple things make global warming worse; one example is cars. Cars emit one of the largest amounts of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Imagine your car producing 2 tons of carbon dioxide, multiplied by at least a billion people also riding in their cars. That produces an insane amount of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, and that's only cars! Not even any other vehicles! Another thing that makes global warming worse is animals. Animals have to burp and fart, just like humans do, but some animals produce methane when they do hat, which floats up into the atmosphere. Sure, it's less than the amount that cars, or factories make, but when there are a massive number of animals on the planet, all around the earth, it can also do a pretty large deal to global warming, in a bad way.

Luckily, there are some things that help the atmosphere, or at least slow down global warming. One of those things is eating more fruits or vegetables. Sinc most people on the planet eat meat, you need more livestock, and with more livestock, more methane is produced. But, if we start planting food to eat, it could maybe help cut down on how many animals are born, creating less methane. Another way is to simply recycle. Recycling goes a long way, even for other things that aren't global warming. But recycling also helps cut down on how much trash is thrown away. Since the trash we throw away goes towards factories, more carbon dioxide and methane are produced. So, recycling will one, give us more things to recycle, and two, limit the amount of carbon dioxide and methane in the atmosphere.

Cars emit a lot of carbon dioxide, so we should try to drive less, and instead walk or ride a vehicles like bikes, scooters, skateboards, etc. When you do your laundry, if you can, hang out your clothes instead of using the dryer to save energy and the emissions the dryer would have caused. Another way is to wear layers like coats, blankets, and sweaters instead of turning up the heat, and when it's hot, open a window or turn on a fan instead of using the AC. Lastly, some devices are vampire appliances, which will drain power even if they are not being used, so make sure to unplug those.

Kinley Sneed, Global warming can be a huge problem for us and our planet burning fossil fuels and coal for energy causes the emission of greenhouse gasses. These gases trap heat inside the atmosphere making everything get hotter and hotter. This can hurt people and animals. Some ways we can help reduce this is by not leaving devices plugged up for a long time, overusing the AC and using appliances like clothes washers. Even live stock can emit gasses into the air, so eat your fruits and vegetables! Tell your friends and family about ways we can reduce climate change so we can help the earth!!

The way my daily actions contribute and help reduce climate change is very common, but we all do it without knowing. When driving to school or to work do you know our cars are transmitting gas inside the atmosphere? That gas traps in the heat that would have otherwise been pushed out of the atmosphere. Another thing is the number of nonrenewable items people use in a day or two. I can't say people because I infact do it myself, but people using items that can be thrown out right after use needs to be reduced. This makes big companies think that they are making a bunch of stock and makes more factories appear across the world, making more gas and more pollution. Electronics also are a giant cause of pollution. I know most of us think that maybe when we turn off a electronic we may be saving things.... BUT it's not fully off! Plug out any electronics when you are done with them, it saves money and the Earth! More ways to help the Earth is to close doors and keep your air conditions in! Dont let it out! Stop buying new appliances, learn to fix them! Save money and the Earth!
