L1 - Inclusive policy - starting to promoting inclusion.

We have different categories of special needs children and we have shadow teacher to take care of them.

We have different teachers and students from different cultures and we celebrate all festivals together. Involving parents for different cultural and professional events.

Aarth encourage students to think critically about local and global issues and communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds.

Teachers are given workshop on autism awareness, learning disability, posh, posco and teachers give strategies to students provided by sen team.

Parent workshop on positive parenting, inclusivity, sexuality education and raising compassionate children facilitated by sen team.

Monthly email updates from counselor desk is sent to parents focusing on specific need of students.

L-2 ( SEN)

The expectations and guidelines are set as per the needs of the students according to the different category such as Learning Disability, ADHD and Speech and Language Disorder etc.

All the teachers have to do regular assesssment of the students who are less than expeceted progress in academic, personal and social skills.

The policy has included clear instructions that helps all the children as per their needs.

I4- visual representation of the outlines for the intervention of the students problems in the school . It start with the observation by the teacher of 1 week and gradually taken up by the strartgies suggested by the SEN team by ensuring confidentiality of all the details of the students.

IEP s are maintained for the students and its very important document and can be shared if the student change the school or grade.

A-6 Inclusive Access Arrangement

*To ensure validity and meaningfulness to MYP assessment equal access to learning and teaching is provided.

*Types of access arrangements - Request for human readers and scribes for typing can be requested.

Role of parents - if parents want to access they can apply to the MYP coordinator
Role of teachers - to keep details and records of assessment and to mark them.
Approval from IB - Ib review the documentation and can also seek for further clarification of submissions.
The requirements of submission also added - classroom practices, eligibility criteria, supporting documentation,transfer of students, issue of ib results.

Inclusive policy (I 1- I 5)- our inclusive policy sets clear guidelines to support each and every student in our school from identifying the students with different needs to plan the strategies which works for them , Teachers are well equipped with training.

Create a system to support them for their holistic Development. the policy tell the role of teachers SEN and the coordinator with their responsibilities .
Also , the ratio of the students with special needs with or without the shadow teachers mentioned with a rational behind it.
There is a process of the intervention to be followed by all .
