Good morning everyone,

Today, I would like to present about one of the most famous historical sites in Vietnam - the Temple of Literature, also known as Văn Miếu - Quốc Tử Giám.

The Temple of Literature is located in the heart of Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. It was originally built in 1070 under the reign of Emperor Ly Thanh Tong and later became the first national university of Vietnam.

This site holds great cultural and educational significance. It was dedicated to Confucius, the great Chinese philosopher, and served as a place to honor scholars and promote learning. Over many centuries, it became a symbol of Vietnam’s long-standing tradition of respect for education and intellectual achievement.

In the past, royal students and Confucian scholars lived and studied within the temple’s grounds. Many of them later became mandarins and high-ranking officials who contributed greatly to the development of the nation.

Nowadays, the Temple of Literature is not only a well-preserved historical monument but also a popular destination for both local visitors and international tourists. Before important examinations, many students come here to pray for good luck and academic success.

In conclusion, the Temple of Literature stands as a proud reminder of Vietnam’s rich educational heritage and its deep respect for knowledge and moral values.

Thank you very much for your attention.

Hello Everyone, today I want to talk about one of the most famous hisyorical sites in VietNam.

Although I have never visited any historical places but I have learned a lot about the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, and it has left a deep impression on me. The citadel is located in Quang Tri Province, in Central Vietnam, and it played a very important role during the Vietnam War. I really like this place because it reminds us of the bravery and sacrifice of Vietnamese soldiers who fought to protect our country. The area now has a memorial, a museum, and peaceful gardens that symbolize both pain and hope. Even though I haven’t been there, I hope to visit it one day to better understand our nation’s history and pay respect to the heroes who gave their lives for peace.

There was also a museum nearby where I learned about his life and battles. The place was clean, quiet, and surrounded by trees.

I felt very proud of Vietnamese history when I visited there.

Today I want to talk about the National Museum in Hanoi. It is a big and beautiful place located in the capital of Vietnam. The museum is very important because it shows the history and culture of our country from ancient times to the modern day. Inside, there are many interesting things such as old clothes, traditional tools, ancient statues, and historical documents. No one lived there in the past, but it keeps many precious objects from Vietnamese kings, soldiers, and farmers, which tell stories about their lives and work. When I visit the museum, I feel proud of my country’s long history and rich culture. I like visiting this place because I can learn more about Vietnam’s past and how our ancestors built the nation.

 Good morning everyone,

Today, I would like to introduce one of the most famous historical sites in Vietnam – Do Temple, located in Bac Ninh Province.

Do Temple is situated in Dinh Bang Ward, Tu Son City, Bac Ninh Province, about 20 kilometers from the center of Hanoi. The temple was built in the 11th century, during the reign of King Ly Thai To, the founder of the Ly Dynasty. It was constructed to honor eight kings of the Ly Dynasty, who made great contributions to the building and development of the country.

This site holds great historical and cultural significance. Not only is it a sacred place for worshiping the Ly kings, but Do Temple also represents the national spirit, pride, and the Vietnamese tradition of gratitude toward ancestors. The temple is well-known for its ancient architecture, harmonious landscape, and peaceful atmosphere, all of which reflect the beauty of Vietnamese culture.

In the past, this place was the hometown of the Ly family, where King Ly Thai To was born and grew up before ascending the throne and moving the capital to Thang Long (now Hanoi). Therefore, Do Temple is considered the cradle of the Ly Dynasty, marking a glorious period in the history of Vietnam.

Today, Do Temple is not only a carefully preserved historical monument, but also a popular tourist destination for both domestic and international visitors. Every year, in the third lunar month, the Do Temple Festival is held to commemorate the Ly kings, attracting thousands of locals and tourists from all over the country.

In conclusion, Do Temple stands as a symbol of national pride and a testament to the glorious past of Vietnam, while also expressing the deep gratitude of later generations toward the Ly kings who greatly contributed to the nation.

Thank you very much for your attention.

Good morning everyone, imagine walking through ancient gates, hearing the quiet sound of wind in the trees, and standing where Vietnamese emperors once ruled. .One of the most fascinating historical places I have ever visited is the Imperial City of Huế, located in central Vietnam. It used to be the capital of Vietnam during the Nguyễn Dynasty, from 1802 to 1945. The whole complex is surrounded by massive stone walls and a large moat, making it look like a real fortress from a history book.

The Imperial City is incredibly important to Vietnamese history and culture. It was not only the center of politics and power but also a place where traditional music, art, and royal customs developed. Inside the citadel, there are many beautiful structures such as the Thai Hoa Palace, where the emperor held official ceremonies, and the Forbidden Purple City, which was reserved only for the royal family.

What makes Huế even more special is its peaceful atmosphere. Even though some parts were damaged during wars, walking through the ruins and restored buildings feels like stepping back in time. There are colorful dragon decorations, ancient gates, and lotus ponds that create a calm and majestic environment.

In the past, the emperors, empresses, royal children, and court officials lived and worked in the Imperial City. Life there was full of tradition, ceremony, and strict rules. I learned that some emperors were poets and artists who helped promote Vietnamese culture.

During my visit, I also tried wearing a traditional royal costume for photos, which made the experience even more fun and memorable. I truly believe that Huế is one of the best places to learn about Vietnam’s royal past and feel proud of our cultural identity.

Good morning, everyone. I want to tell you about a fascinating historical place I've visited: the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long. This incredibly significant site is conveniently located right in the heart of Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. The Citadel is critical because it served as the political center of the country for an astonishing period—almost thirteen centuries. It holds the record for the longest continuously-occupied seat of power in Southeast Asia. This makes it extremely important, as it was the official home to several major dynasties, including the Lý, Trần, and Lê. Due to this profound history, it has been recognized globally as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Looking at who lived there, the Citadel was the official home and workplace for Vietnam’s most powerful people: this included the Emperors and their Royal Families, the mandarin officials who governed the court, and, of course, the soldiers who tirelessly stood guard to keep the capital safe.

Many ancient palaces, temples, walls, and gates still remain there today, showing the beauty of Vietnamese culture.

I really want to visit the Imperial City one day to learn more about our nation’s history and to see the place where the kings once lived and ruled the country.

Today, I would like to talk about the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, one of the most important historical sites in Vietnam.

The citadel is located in the center of Hanoi. It was first built in the 11th century by the Ly Dynasty, when King Ly Thai To moved the capital to Thang Long. For many centuries, it was the political and cultural center of our country.

Inside the citadel, there are ancient gates, old palaces, and valuable relics that show the life of Vietnamese kings. One of the most famous structures is the Hanoi Flag Tower.

In 2010, the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

This place is not only a tourist attraction but also a symbol of Vietnam’s long history, rich culture, and national pride.

Thank you for listening!
