Change for teachers is difficult. Teachers work longer hours than many professions. Many struggle with resources, balancing work-life and of course school politics. Teachers lose planning time because of teacher shortages and budget cuts. Students with behavioral issues makes the classroom challenging. There is also the lack of autonomy. Teachers face random evaluations, maintaining curriculum which doesn't allow students who fell behind to catch up; resulting in lower test scores, which reflect back onto the educator. With all of this.... YOU want us to do more?
