This included making it more difficult to obtain asylum and reducing benefits for asylum seekers. But that was more than twenty years ago. How does it look today? Back in 2014, many refugees came to Great Britain because of the civil war in Syria, the number rose again to 25,033. But only twenty percent of those 25,033 come from the Middle East, where Syria is located.

There must be the following reasons:
  • your race
  • your religion
  • your nationality
  • your political opinion
  • anything else that puts you at risk because of the social, cultural, religious or political situation in your country, for example, your gender, gender identity or sexual orientation

If any of these reason is there you can come to the Uk but what should you have in your backpack?
Your papers definitely and anything you think will help your application.
You register your asylum claim at a screening. If you want such a meeting you need to talk to a border policeman when you are at the border. In this meeting you will speak to an immigration officer and he will say whether you can stay or not. 
In this screening  you will:
  • be photographed
  • have your fingerprints taken
  • have an interview to check who you are and where you’re from
After your screening, the Ministry of the Interior will check your case and inform you whether asylum is possible. If it is possible you will get an asylum registration card.
This card:
  • show´s who you are
  • show´s whether you have permission to work
  • makes it possible to get  health or education services
But after all that you will have a last Interview, in this Interview you must tell the truth because it is one of the most important part of the request. The person who interviews you will make a interview record and after this interview the Ministry of the Interior will make a decision. Your application will usually be decided within 6 months and if you told the truth and have a real reason for a asylum you are now something like a immigrant

In the Uk are many different laws about the environment , I will show and explain you four main topics. These four topics are for me the most important:

Pollution Environmental Law, is from 1974 and regulates waste disposal and emissions into the environment.
Wildlife Environmental Laws, this topic is for the citizens of the Uk really serious. There are four different laws in my source and many of them are about hunting. With these laws, the UK government seeks to protect its badger and birds from hunting because of such an ancient tradition.
Conservation Environmental Laws, the British people have a big heart for their national parks and listed buildings, they protect them with laws to hold their beautiful nature alive and punishes people who do not adhere to it.
Climate Change Environmental Laws, the British government takes the climate change not that serious like other countries but they try it. Their main goal is to save 80 percent of the emissions measured in 1990 by 2050. To realize that goal , they build everything so that it saves more emissions. Furthermore, Companies are obliged to meet the energy efficiency requirements.

The seas rise over the banks, the polar caps are not there anymore... and visiting the world is impossible.  Maybe think about using the train or the bus for traveling instead of your Diesel car. But the environment is less interesting now , you grave your own son his grave, because of your behavior I most go on the fucking wall for two years to protect you and you know what, I found a girl that I like there but... because of this... and the cursed captain I can never be a typical family with her. And that is not my fault...You have decided to Run coal-fired power plants and you decided that "we will have enough time to stop the climate change"...but hey look what you did...nothing what a surprise. Oh also why are you so weird and watch Baywatch or what ever in the tv when I left the house? Are you two children or am I a parent who does not allow you to watch it? America: The top three causes of CO2 emissions in America are cars / trucks, power generation, and industry. But how does it come about? Americans burn a lot of fossil fuels because they are so cheap there. For example, a liter of gasoline costs around € 0.72. The reason for this is that Americans get cheap oil there and don't pay a lot of taxes for it. Furthermore the energy that they produce comes from gas or coal and both are known to be not very environmentally friendly.

He wears glasses (p.11 l.24). His nickname is "Chewy" , he got this name from Shoona (p.34 l.12) . He is a good team mate and has good social relationships to his squad, because he made four friends in a very short time and also has a girl on his side with Hifa (Chapter 9). Kavanagh is a intelligent person, he does not share his secret ideas about his future and says instead that he does not know what he wants from his future. (p.67 l.14-26) . Also Kavanagh seems to be good at dealing with stress, in the first battle with the others he doesn't panic and stayed calm and give direct advices to his members via communicator. From this calm and his acting according to the rules that he has learned in training you can see that he was a good soldier and therefore he is apparently not a go-getter.(p.108 l.21 to p.110 l.10)
He has a clear mind what he wants from his future, he does not want to be the provincial boy for the rest of his life. His goals are high, but with his plan, if everything happens the way he wants, he could achieve them.

Our main character has (for me) a disadvantage in his personality, he can not forgive his parents and their generation that they messed up the world and sees his problems (with the wall) as the result of what they did back then. Mr. Lanchester uses a synonym for climate change, he calls it "The Change" (p.16 l.7). The author uses this synonym to downplay climate change and to indirectly show the reader how he is confronted with his guilt. In addition, John uses this kind of confrontation in many parts of the novel, he hides these parts in order to get them into the head of the reader in a devious way (p.52). These parts of the book show the real theme of the book, it's not Kavanagh's duty on the wall, it's the climate change that we have caused. Kavanagh is not the poor boy , he is the fictional son of the reader and his suffering and innocence should awaken us to take climate protection seriously. His dislike of his parents was intended to show what the relationship between readers and possible children might be like later on.
