When I was 6 years old, I took my dad's cell phone and it would move if I slid my finger on the screen. However, it didn't surprise me because I was born in 2010 and the only thing I knew as a phone was the smartphone.

One day, my mother showed me a cell phone and I wanted to move it with my fingers, but the screen did not move, and the screen was gray, my mother laughed and said: "you must press the buttons," and I said: "what?"

My mom laughed again. Then, she told me that cell phones had been around for thirty years and had changed a lot. In fact, the touch screen smartphone was invented only a few years before I was born. Before this great invention, the only phones that existed were cell phones with buttons.

Before the cell phone, people communicated by phone at home. Did they have to be at home to get a call?

Hahaha, my mom told me that she knew the cell phone only when she was studying in eleventh grade. Can you imagine?

I was very confused. I don't know how they lived like this!

Something that changed my life was when my younger brother was born. That excited me a lot and at the same time I did not like it because they gave everything to him. That forced me to take care of him, he brought many emotions to the family, like when he took his first step, when he said his first word etc.

When he was 8 months old he got neumonia and that made me very sad because he was at risk of death. But a doctor treated him in surgery and saved the life of my little brother. However, he was left with a twisted bone in his chest, but at 5 years old he had another surgery to fix the twisted bone.

After the surgery, we waited for one month so that he could make a full recovery and after that I was able to travel to visit him. Then, I visited him and he was very happy to see me and I was very happy to see him again.

After a while, all my family traveled to Bogota where he was staying to see him as he was he was getting better.

Finally, they arrived there and they began to cry when they saw my brother connected to some machines that checked his life signals and symptoms. Today, he is fine and happy with me, and all in all, that experience taught me to value my brother even more.

What changed my life, at 8 years old was when they took out a tooth and I had a crossbite that they took out for not knowing that it happened to me at 11 years old and when they told me I was very sad and they took me to the dentist and they slept. Two hours later, I woke up without the tooth and they gave me a device to substitute the tooth that they removed.

Two years passed and they removed it and they put another device that hurt me a lot. After 4 months, they said it was only worth one month then they put me Another device that hurt too much and I couldn't speak well and I got sadder when the doctor told me that I had to use it for a year. They used fluoride and they put a device on me that I couldn't speak well.

What changed my life in the pandemic was that my parents got the coronavirus or COVID-19. So, we were confined at home, we took turns to eat individually, I was very sad and a month passed and it was still the same and after twenty days we beat the coronavirus or COVID-19 that taught me to take good care of myself.

An experience that changed my life was the coronavirus pandemic last year.

It was a challenge and a terrible experience for my family,
for me and for everybody. Nobody knew what to do and everybody was scared.
At the beginning, we were in quarantine in our houses and we
could not go out. We started to wear facemasks to protect ourselves from the
virus.

This virus started in China and spread all around the world very quickly.
As we could not go out, we started to study online, this was
the most difficult part for me and my friends because we were used to go to
school every day and in that moment we only saw each other through the cameras
of our computers.

However, all the scientists and doctors from all around the world started to work very hard to find a vaccine for this terrible virus. Fortunately, after a little less than one year, a vaccine was found and the immunization process started in all the world.

Many people died because of this virus and many others were affected in different ways, some people lost their jobs and some others had to find new strategies for their living. But we are trying to get over this difficult situation.

This experience was very challenging for everybody. However, it left us some lessons that we can never forget and it taught us that we should appreciate the material things that we have and more important, we should appreciate our lives and the people that are around us.

What changed my life was the PS4 (play station4) they gave it to me at 8 years on Christmas.

I was very excited to open it, at first I did not know exactly what it was but thanks to my cousin who already had one he helped me install it.

It was not so easy to learn to play at first. Throughout 2 years time, I already knew how to play it very well but one day I got so angry that I broke my monitor so my parents scolded me and did not let me play for 3 weeks.

After those three weeks, I started playing again. I felt like new but one thing that was clear to me was not to get angry for a simple video game.

Invention: Quizizz

When the pandemic began last year, my life changed a lot. I discovered an excellent platform to play with my students. The platform that I discovered on the Internet is called Quizizz and my life as a teacher changed dramatically. I could evaluate my students through games and very fun activities. It was like the same evaluation but in a very interesting game. Gamifying the evaluation!

On one occasion, I designed a very long activity for my 8° students at Gimnasio la Fragua school. It was a game of about 34 points for an English class. I saw that my 8° students liked it very much and they told me to continue doing activities like that one because they enjoyed them more than using or applying the traditional activities in the notebook.

At the beginning, I had some difficulties to design my games because I knew very little about the platform. I had to investigate about how to use the platform to continue enriching my activities to play with my students. Little by little, by dint of effort and the support of my 8° students, I began to develop my skills on the Quizizz Platform. Now the students, could have new challenges to participate in the class and demonstrate their knowledge and skills in a more fun and interactive way.

I decided to implement the same platform for all the other subjects at Gimnasio la Fragua school. For that reason, my students in Novus Peace and Social Studies started to play many interesting games to improve their motivation and academic level. My classes turned fun to my students and I noticed it because they asked me if I had planned a game in Quizizz every day. All my students increased their motivation and their English level in my classes.

Today, I still design my activities in the Quizizz Platform for my 5° students at Gimnasio la Fragua school and I can see that they prefer these online activities a lot. I also noticed that they understand better through the implementation of activities on this platform and I hope to continue broadening my experience through the implementation of other platforms, such as ODILO (the Digital Library) and PEARSON.

The only problem I face everyday is the lack of time to design more activities for my students and I often create them on the weekend or very late at night.

When I was 6 years old, we were on a farm in Armenia and we drove a lot. I was with my cousin and he asked his uncle's father to let him drive alone.

I get very excited when we get on the plane and go to see more places when it is with my family, we laugh a lot, and we like to experience new and typical things of each place we visit.The last time with my whole family we went to Mexico, we visited many states and towns in that country, we traveled to celebrate my sister's birthday, I had a lot of fun, I swam with sharks and it was incredible and very scary, I went paragliding and it was great, We had a great party on a pirate ship and we had a lot of fun especially my sister. Whenever I think of a plane I think of traveling and how happy it makes us every time we share in different countries and cities, that's why for me the best invention and my favorite is the plane, which has changed my life and full of good experiences my life. we went from neiva to armenia a 5 hour trip we arrived at my uncle's farm they were my cousins and friends
On the second day my uncle brought a rhino, a miniature motorcycle and his brother arrived, they gave us too many laps, I drove the rhino with my father in the passenger seat, my cousin and her friends left in the trunk and almost reversed I fly them out, some ladies in the ensemble told my father that the children could not drive in the ensemble, then we did not go to the pool, it was made at night and we played stick stick stick

Hello everyone, my name is Costhy Mateo and today I come to tell you what changed my life.
Since covid-19 began. It has changed my life a lot in many ways, especially for me it was a very big change but I adapted myself to living with this virus. It is not fun but you have to adapt to what life brings us good.

My routine and the things that I did when this virus did not exist were completely different. I began to do virtual classes, I began to learn to use the face mask moderately and I also changed a lot in my outings.

I always went to the mall but now I hardly go. I always went out to play but now I don't even go out. I hardly used the technology and now I am addicted to it. This pandemic has taught me to live with this is not easy but you have to get ahead with everything.

This is good now, my routine always now since there are alternation classes, two or three days and now I have become very addicted to online games and I love to play but I always have to remember that those games are not going to get me through.

It is just a as an entertainment medium, what is going to bring me forward is studying and a lot of effort. I will achieve many things when I grow up and good, and I have adapted for a whole year to living with this pandemic and this has been my current story and I give you some advice!

The invention or the experience that changed my life was the coronavirus, COVD-19.

Really, nobody knows if the coronavirus is an infection created in a lab in Wuham China, or if this virus was transmitted by a bat because some people ate this animal.

Before the Covid pandemic, my life was very nice, I could go to school, I traveled with my parents, I went out with my friends without wearing a face mask, I went to the restaurants, I ate in my friends' house and did many good things, together.

Now, my life is different and I have to be very careful because I can get sick by Covid .

The pandemic is for me a new obstacle, a new reality with my family with my friends with my studies through a virtual class every day.

Ithink, by wearing a mask all and together, we can overcome this pandemic. We can have more time as a family, more time playing video games with new members of the family: my dog, my cat and everyone with a bottle of juice in hand and with a minimum of two meters of distance to be able to communicate.
