Flashlight360 is an app made available to ESOL teachers in Title I schools that allows students to use technology to label a scene, and describe that scene by speaking and writing about it. Teacher's can leave feedback and set goals for students. Teachers can also choose pictures that correspond with the grade level curriculum.

This picture is an example of how the environment in my classroom maximizes EL learning, by allowing students to assess their own understanding. This is one of many ways in which classroom supports and formative assessments are used to guide my instruction and help students to be successful.

Artifact #1- Accurate Assessment of Lesson Effectiveness

This is an example of a quarterly progress report completed for each Multilingual Learner receiving direct ESOL services. The progress reports are completed based on the student's proficiency level as determined by their most recent WIDA ACCESS scores, and assessment of reading, writing, listening and speaking performance in ESOL group.

This audit sheet is in ever student's purple folder. It indicates the completed portions of the student's ESOL folder up to the 3rd quarter. Each folder includes, the student's ESOL schedule, signed parent notification document, signed accommodations form, the EL plan, progress reports, and quarterly work samples.
