If that happened I think surrounding people would go crazy. Such as breaking laws, and fearing for their lives. I think that because they don't know what the soldiers are up to, if I was in DC and that happened I would be afraid something bad is going to happen.

People would probably be perplexed. There was no real reason/announcement for their reasoning to call them to do so. People could also be angry and scared because they are left in the dark. After all, there was no official reasoning.

Most people would be scared, frightened, and would most likely run away. Many laws would be broken from the citizen either running away or stealing because the military is occupied in the white house. There would also been no reasoning for this, unless the president made an announcement for this random act.

If something like this would happen, it really would surprise the world and think of the military differently then some might already do. They would/could be terrified from this, as they would have to rely possibly on freedom fighters to help them get the White House back. But people would also wonder why they would do something like this with no official reason to do so.

I believe that people would not be happy about this in any sense. There would be riots, chaos, and no telling of what people would be capable of doing out of fear. People would be terrified and any sort of stability within the country would be lost due to no-one's voices being heard and democracy out the window

The country would go into a state of fear, because to the outside world this is an act of martial law. Even worse people would begin to assume that something terrible has happened to our leading officials. The country would go into chaos, people could turn on each other believing that an unknown force has taken the power.

This would induce absolute and massive panic in the US, out of both confusion and fear. People would panic because they don't know what's going on, and wouldn't know what the general planned to do after taking over the White House. Some may believe it would be an act of Martial Law, while others may see it as a rebellion against democracy, become threatened, and flee. I don't see there being a very positive reaction to this happening in the common public, because it would feel like a forceful position of power, and the people had no say in it.

I don't think people would react calmly. I think no matter the reason as to why, it would be blown out of proportion and the majority of the US would be fearful.

If this hypothetical did in fact happen, though it is virtually impossible to truly occur, most all of the individuals tasked to do this would say no. This is a severe violation of power and abuse of power. The effect this would have on the country as a whole would be detrimental. This would cause severe separation between the people and government and would create tension between all of the individuals in the government. Not only this, but it would cause mass hysteria and people would go crazy with the thought of our country turning into shambles.

Everyone would probably be scared and confused as to why this is happening. Also if this happens then who would help defend the country if the strongest soldiers are occupied in the White House? Citizens would be terrified because they won't know what is happening or what could happen. I know I would be wondering why all these soldiers are in the White House.

If something like this were to actually happen, I believe the world would be shocked and unsure of how to handle it. People would most likely react with an outburst, leading the world to even more chaos and destruction.

I think that people would probably protest and fight it. No one would be okay with it and when Americans aren't okay with something the government is doing they know how to fight it. Most people would also be frightened and start freaking out as well.

If the most powerful general in the U.S. took over America and the U.S. became a Military dictatorship many things would change. A lot of the freedoms experienced by "normal" U.S. citizens would be stripped from them taking the ability for them to peacefully protest, express their opinions, and speak their minds. Even though they would no longer have these rights, people would still protest understanding that this dictatorship wouldn't be as fair and equal as our democracy. This would probably lead to a lot of violence and a lot of oppression.

I believe that terrible things would happen and or eventually happen. I think that the military would react quickly and come up with a solution. I believe that all law enforcement like police would also react to the place very quickly and that things would probably start closing down around that. Not only would it make all that happen but I feel like there would definitely be riots and that would just cause more chaos.

There could be protests from citizens due to their fear or opposing views on the matter, it depends on why the military takes over the capitol. The pre existing government and military might try to retaliate but with the force of the most powerful general and their military that might fail. Without a good reason, many Americans would be against this decision and will probably aim to resolve this new problem.

I think this would cause chaos and send the US into anarchy as our society is so rooted in having an elected president. It might cause people to actually stop and think about the actual "greatness" of our country and government.

If that would happen their would be lots of different reactions from all. Their would be lots of people that are unhappy because of their really having no reason. The state would be fearing because it would be such a random thing to happened. I think that they would all assume that something bad is going to happen. There may be people that protest and fight it and probably no one would necessarily be okay with it. People would react terribly leading for the situation to be even worse.

There would be no peace and everyone would start fighting against each other because of the high tensions and differences in opinions. There would also be a giant civil war also among the soldiers who didn't believe what they were doing was right and those who were just doing what they were told.

If this were to happen people would be very confused and worried about how it would affect the country, if there will be a civil war, and any other worries that the civilians would have. Everything would be messed up and it would be horrible.
