It is the theme because the Bad Seed was growing to become a good seed but it was a challenge and he tried to do good things.

It is the theme because it is saying that if the bad seed has a positive mindset and change  then other people can change with a positive mind set too.
 
What evidence can you provide from the book?
In the end of the story the Bad Seed had a positive mindset that he can change and that he was trying, then he actually changed

It is the theme because  after the Bad Seed was spit out he became bad and he didn't like being bad so he changed and tried to become a good seed

In the story it said," I lived inside a soda can I didn't care and it suited me." then when he tried to become a good seed it said," Hey there goes the bad seed.
