         <description><![CDATA[<div>Initially during the pandemic I felt very demotivated because I didn't the have excitement that I would have if I was to be present at the university physically. Due to that, I was not able to manage my academic and personal life well.<br>To sort this out, I started making a weekly checklists. It helped me a lot in keeping track on what I'm doing and what I have to do. When I finish a task, I usually strikethrough it and that gives me so much satisfaction.&nbsp;<br>Also, to stay motivated while doing my assignments, my friend and I would zoom call and we would do our work while we're on the call. This helped us stay active while doing our work.</div>]]></description>

But due to corona, balancing home and school made me go off track with my commitment towards fitness and mindfulness.Instead of blaming myself and further self sabotaging it. I made a promise to myself that I should not be expecting too much consistency and perfection with regards to my fitness goals. I said to myself “It is ok even, if I work out 15 days in a month”.I have developed this self compasionate attitude towards myself, help me overcome procrastination and regret.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I have been feeling anxiety because of constantly worrying about assignments, especially group assignments. It's really a struggle and it's kind of hard to communicate online and our ideas might not be express properly through online.&nbsp;<br><br>Sometimes I might felt boring as well as we are just staying in the house, facing four walls everyday with our families. I just miss to interact with people physically. ( But it's FMCO ya guys so stay at home!! )&nbsp;<br><br>Also, I messed up my sleeping schedule in the beginning of pandemic. Just like every teenagers, I watched binge-worthy shows until late midnight. But my body has started to show some symptoms, especially my skin started to break out really bad. So, it's really important to have a healthy sleeping schedule.&nbsp;&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In this pandemic,&nbsp; my daily life have been ruined. I cannot go to school for my classes and met my friends. I even need to quickly catch up the classes through e-learning. Time management is the biggest problems to me. Weak time management make me sometimes cannot finish my work on time and skip some classes. My school study is totally messed up. The stress on the coursework keep affect me and I can't even sleep well too.<br><br>But I know that I cannot give up easily, I must do something to solve my time management problems. I have learn to write time schedule and note down all the important submission date. I also set reminder in my phone to remind myself.<br><br>I also have find the balance between work and rest. Everytime I study for 3 hours and then I will take a rest for 20 minutes. It will keep my motivation in study.<br><br>I also have found that music is really useful to cope with stress. I will listen to music before sleep or when taking a rest. It can relax my mind and get a good night sleep too.<br><br>But now the problem I still have is stay up late all the time. I still finding solution to solve this problem 😕</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Well, the stress, especially the fear of death, was the major issue for a several months, especially at the onset of this pandemic!!! To begin with, I was asking everyone I was in close contact with, via phone and on the internet, about how they were coping since that got conversations started about what people were doing to help themselves and others through these difficult times. I needed to find out what others were doing, and what they were not doing, and the only way to find out was to ask and put it out there! I quickly learned that most of us were struggling and floundering initially! There was so much fear and concern!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I didn't actually feel stressed at all. I adapt really well to different situations and kind of looked at the pandemic as a situation that will be ongoing for a couple of years instead of getting my hopes up too high.<br><br>For the few weeks of the first MCO in March 2020, it did get lonely because I was all alone and unable to go home. However, I eventually felt comfortable being alone and doing everything by myself. Sometimes things can get overwhelming but not to a stressful point. One thing that kept me in check was having a calendar book where I wrote all my assignment due dates and whennI will start a certain assignment.&nbsp;<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>At the beginning, it was indeed very challenging to change and adapt from normal to online classes.But after sometime you find ways to adapt and it gets better.For me, at first I was confused and couldn’t manage my time properly but after learning the pattern I came up with a basic schedule and plan on how to get things done.One thing tht I don’t like in online learning is having to listen super long lectures😪.I am both an introvert and extrovert so being only at home didn’t bother me nor effect me. Infact I liked it and could live normally, I wasn’t stress by it.Some tips I would give is to do or try out new things/activities every now and then.Spend time with ur family.Then watch alottttt of movies and tv shows.Just know how to manage ur time wisely and you got it.💪🏼💯✨</div>]]></description>

In a classroom I was able to give my full attention to what was being taught, I was all there. However, when we had the online classes, I could not focus and listen to what my teachers were trying to get across. I got distracted very easily, missing out on important information that was being presented.&nbsp;<br><br>My entire family which consists of four members, were all home during the quarantine. The only thing that has been a hassle is when our university required us to return to face to face lesson as we are required to have a half online half physical semester. With the uncertainties going on continuously it has been a little burdensome especially for students like me who are from other states. Due to that, new noms have been implemented like lockdown, social distancing, activity limitation and so much more to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Somehow, I feel like it’s a punishment to mankind, a lesson that teach us the world is better off with less human activities and the presence of human, like limitation of cars, close down of factories and many more has tremendously helped with the environment.&nbsp;At this very odd situation we are being put in, it reflects clearly on the poor and selfish attitude and behaviour of humankind, example mass buying without considering other’s need especially the old timers, disobeying rules and cause further spreading, decline in economy causing business to run out therefore showing the true self of some people and also proving leaderships of country during the handling of this pandemic. It’s couldn’t agree that this pandemic has been a total disaster but if you look closer into it and realise there is so much more we can learn from it.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>When the pandemic happened in 2020, I was in my last year of diploma. The sudden change of situation of lockdown and e- learning was really hard for me to adapt. Me and my friends rented an apartment so no matter how overwhelming it gets with assignments and deadlines, to be around with my friends actually make things a lot better. We were definitely can balance the time for fun and studies. However, the pandemic upturn all of that and everything has been very difficult. Adapting to a sudden change can be very hard. First time in the whole 3 years of my diploma, the last semester of final year i was at home with my family with no friends around. My classmates were all stay very far, either different districts or states. I’m a very social person and due to this, my depression got worse. Staying home making me depressed as I had no activities to distract myself or to reward myself after studying. My family? They dont make it any better. Once i’m home, i’ll have to do every house chores as everyone depends on me as the only daughter in the house. This stereotypical mindset in my family that women must be in kitchen and prepared food and clean the house is very must present in my household and I hated it ever since. That’s one of the reason why I rent a place just so I can be far from home. My parents were not really aware about the situation, they think I got nothing to do and will always shouting out my name for help when I was having zoom class or doing assignments. My schedule felt really overwhelmed . At one point, I got a breakdown because of this situation and explained to my parents, however I got backlash instead of them being understanding. At this point, I was at suicidal point in my life and they still won’t take me seriously. I got multiple panic attacks and anxiety attack during that period. Instead of being supportive and help me, my parents just addressed me as being “crazy”. Every day I cried in my room and expressed my feelings to my friends but it didn’t do much. I almost dropped out due to this situation but luckily my lecturer was very understanding and supportive and allows me to submit my assignment later and postponed the final exam date. My sleeping schedule was messed up too as I need to do my work after midnight when it’s peaceful because everyone is asleep. Despite all this challenging events, I managed to graduate my diploma. However, the damage has been done, these situations really messed up with my mental health and now I have to go see psychiatrist every now and then to help me get over this. Luckily now my family has become more understanding because of the psychiatrist’s advice and having supportive friends since the beginning is what makes me going.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This pandemic has a huge impact on my life, at first it was fine during 2020 because I'm a home person and I felt so excited to stay in my house however when the lockdown keep on going, everything hits me. I can’t stay in my household for 24 hours and I miss going out with my friends especially when we try to rest from everything that happened to us, however now, I can’t do that. I have to stay at home and even if I’m too stressed or depressed with everything, I just have to cry in my room and pretending to be fine in front of my family. It really is sucks because all I wanna do was crying loudly but I can’t do that because my family can hear me. At the same time, even though with classes and everything, I am still the one that needs to cook and clean my house because for now, I’m staying with my two older sisters. Since they are busy, I am the one need to do house chores but I’m still tired with it because both of my sisters expected me to do everything. When I asked them to do, they will give excuses about how tired they are, like??? Am I not tired? At this point, I feel like I’m more of a maid instead of a sister in this house. It messed up my physical and mental health because I don’t receive enough rest for me. As for online classes, it is really a not for me, because e-learning does not make me want to focus on whatever I was studying especially when some of the subjects are better to teach face to face but unfortunately we still can’t go outside or back to campus. To be real honest, there are so many things that happened to me during this pandemic that makes my mental health more messed up than usual. Back then I always can run away and cry with my friends and tell them, but now, I can’t do that. Now I’m&nbsp;more depressed because of this pandemic but it is what it is.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

Well, I guess having enough sleep is very important and do lots of plannings ahead, so you have enough time to complete your task.&nbsp;<br><br>Also, take a break when you needed. It is okay to take a short break, do something that you want like have a snack, watch a video, do some workout or play some games. Anything that helps to loosen your mind.          <description><![CDATA[<div>In the initial days, the lockdown was like mental suffering, because all of a sudden I was confined within the walls of my house and there’s only a limited amount of activities you can do indoors.<br><br></div><div>Then, through experimentation, I came to the conclusion that to remain sane, I must always keep busy no matter what. So I enrolled in a couple of courses online to up skill myself, learnt different languages&nbsp; and even started doing Yoga. Once I had some sort routine, my day became more productive and fruitful.<br><br></div><div>So, this was my strategy.<br><br></div><div>Do not allow your mind to be idle!<br><br></div><div>:)</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After reading everyone's experiences, I think I faced the same issues as everyone. My routine has changed since the beginning of mco and it's not because of watching tv shows but rushing my assignments instead. Before MCO, we are required to attend physical classes so my sleeping schedule are fixed. But now I'm experiencing of rushing assignments until the dawn and start my day from afternoon.&nbsp;<br><br>It's pretty bad and I'm still trying hard to adjust my routine. It's getting a little bit better so I hope I can adjust it back with the tips given. :))&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>
