Ta'aruf is the process of getting to know someone with the intention of building a friendship. In this context, ta'aruf involves:

Introducing oneself: Sharing personal information such as name, background, interests, and hobbies. In this ta'aruf session, introductions were done creatively by acting out scenes from famous movies like Fast & Furious, Harry Potter, Kung Fu Panda, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Asking questions: Showing genuine interest in others by asking about their life, experiences, and aspirations.

Listening attentively: Paying close attention to what others share and responding thoughtfully.

Respecting boundaries: Being mindful of each person's comfort level and ensuring that interactions remain enjoyable for everyone.

Building trust: Creating a sense of connection through shared experiences and meaningful conversations.

This unique approach to ta'aruf made the process more engaging and fun, allowing participants to express themselves in a creative way while getting to know each other.

Shahada (Faith): Declaring belief in one God (Allah) and that Muhammad is His messenger.

Solat (Prayer): Performing five daily prayers to connect with Allah.

Zakat (Charity): Giving a portion of wealth to those in need to promote generosity and reduce poverty.

Fasting during Ramadan: Abstaining from food and drink from dawn to sunset during Ramadan to develop self-control and empathy.

Hajj (Pilgrimage to Mecca): A once-in-a-lifetime journey (if able) to Mecca for prayer, faith, and seeking forgiveness.

1. Belief in Allah – Acknowledging the oneness of Allah (Tawhid), His existence, attributes, and that He alone is worthy of worship.

2. Belief in Angels – Accepting that angels are created beings who serve Allah, such as Jibril, who delivers revelation.

3. Belief in Divine Scriptures – Recognizing the holy books revealed by Allah, including the Tawrah, Zabur, Injil, and the Qur’an as the final revelation.

1. Belief in Prophets (Rasul & Anbiya) – Acknowledging that prophets were sent by Allah to guide humanity with divine teachings, setting moral examples, and leading toward truth and justice.

2. Belief in the Final Day (Al-Qiyamah) – Understanding the resurrection, judgment, and eternal destiny of all people, where deeds will be weighed, and accountability will be upheld.

3. Belief in Qada & Qadar (Divine Decree & Predestination) – Accepting that everything happens according to Allah’s divine knowledge and will, fostering trust, patience, and gratitude.

These beliefs complete the six Pillars of Iman in Islam.

In Islam, Al-Qiyamah (The Day of Resurrection) is the final day when Allah will resurrect all humans for judgment. Every person's deeds will be weighed, and they will be rewarded with Jannah (Paradise) or punished in Jahannam (Hell) based on their faith and actions. This day is a fundamental belief in Islam and serves as a reminder of accountability.

DALIL:

Surah Al-Anbiya (21:47):

وَنَضَعُ الْمَوَازِينَ الْقِسْطَ لِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ فَلَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْئًا ۖ وَإِن كَانَ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ أَتَيْنَا بِهَا ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِنَا حَاسِبِينَ

Translation:

"And We set up the scales of justice for the Day of Judgment, so no soul will be dealt with unjustly in the least. And if there is even the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it forth. And sufficient are We as Reckoners."

Minor signs of the Day of Judgment, It highlights three key signs:

1. Competition in constructing tall buildings – As prophesied in Sahih Muslim, people will race to build towering structures.

2. Disobedience and disrespect towards parents – A prophecy from Sahih Muslim states that a slave woman will give birth to her master, symbolizing a reversal in family roles and authority.

3. Women covering their awrah but appearing naked – As mentioned in Sahih Bukhari, clothing will exist, but it will not provide proper coverage, leading to a loss of modesty.

These signs serve as warnings before the arrival of major events leading to the Day of Judgment.

Adab refers to good manners, etiquette, and respectful behavior in all aspects of life, including social, moral, and ethical conduct.

- Examples of Adab in Islam:

  - Respecting parents, elders, and teachers.

  - Speaking politely and avoiding gossip.

  - Upholding honesty, integrity, and cleanliness.

Importance of Adab:

- Reflects one's faith and strengthens relationships.

- Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) emphasized good manners as a sign of the best believers.

Key Areas of Adab:

1. With Allah – Humility in worship and sincerity.

2. With Others – Kind speech, patience, and forgiveness.

3. Personal Conduct – Honesty, integrity, and gratitude.

Ihsan (Excellence in Worship & Good Deeds)

Ihsan means striving for perfection in worship and actions, as if one sees Allah.

- Definition:

  "Worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you do not see Him, indeed He sees you." (Hadith, Sahih Muslim)

Importance of Ihsan:

- Encourages excellence in worship, work, and relationships.

- Inspires self-improvement and a strong connection with Allah.

Ihsan in Daily Life:

1. In Worship – Performing prayers with sincerity and giving charity.

2. In Relationships – Being just, kind, and helping others.

3. In Self-Improvement – Striving for excellence and self-reflection.

Both Adab and Ihsan are essential in Islam to cultivate good character, strong faith, and a harmonious society.
