We will be working together and our objective is to create a activity which is suitable for 14 to 17 year olds who are doing a lower academic course which is supported studies where there learn skills which are needed for jobs. we have to ensure our activity isn't to difficult but has the right amount to challenge them. We have 30 minutes to carry out the activity. we have a location where we will be hosting the activity which is in the local leisure zone sport hall. We have also been provided equipment which ranges from bibs, footballs and basketballs. We have to come up with idea of what game we would like to launch for the participants, also the rules and the scoring as well as what equipment and how it is going to be run. For our activity we will need bibs, balls and nets, also we will need two teams to take part. These participants are from college so they will not need transport to the venue. Also we will rehearse the activity before we launch it showing below a diagram of the lay out of the game. We then made our way over to the gym hall and practiced our activity. In the hour we got to practice our team realised we needed to add in having goal keepers as we wasn't going to. We realised it would run smoothly if we did have goal keepers. We also changed our rule of how far away you have to be when throwing the ball. Myself and Naomi took one group and I told them the rules of the game and made sure they knew what they were doing. I also tried to get everyone involved by letting everyone have the chance to be in the middle and start off with the ball. After the first game I asked the students who wanted to have a go at the second game and asked some of the students that sat out for the first game if they wanted a go in the second game. We all took part in managing the group of students. I also reminded the students during the game that hand ball is a non contact game. We changed a few things in the activity which made it better. For example we changed the  court size that we was going to use as I felt like we didn't need the whole court. I feel my performance when the activity was taking place was good. I was confident and energetic and at first we had trouble getting a lot of the students to play but I tried to encourage them to play and it worked. This could have caused a problem as the students didn't know where to go but we all got the students to the right place. When we first asked who wanted to play hand ball only two students wanted to play which meant we wouldn't have been able to host our activity, we also didn't have basketball hoops to do the contingency plan. We all worked as a group to convince the students to play. When the students got playing they all enjoyed it and got into it a lot. It is also an activity that everyone can get involved in as there are different roles for them to do. We encouraged all of the children to get involved in the activity by explaining what the game was, the rules and how it was an easy and fun activity. we also told them they we would award two people who played well at the end of the games with some sweets.
