In this project, there were many challenges faced, such as trying to think of an idea that suits the criteria of the project, but as a class we managed to solve the problem. We worked in our respective groups and contributed to the class during class discussion. We shared our ideas with the class and gave feedback to other ideas shared. There were many challenges I faced such as making time to do the VIA project in the middle of my WAs. However, I overcame them by learning good time management and seeking help from my friends when in need. For this VIA project, I was in the online poster team. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the final product and I feel that it will help to promote evergreen secondary school. Another challenges I face is to work well with my team mates. I learn that I need to take initiative to lead my team to complete the task by the deadline and to communicate well with them. I also learn that no one walks alone, there are always friends to help you when you are in need. Thus, I learn to seek help from my friends when I need help. Being a leader is not a simple task as we need to keep everyone on track towards a common goal. I have to make sure everyone that everyone has a role and is doing it properly. Although I was the leader, my teammates also contributed a lot to the finished product and without them the work would not be done as quickly as we did. I also have to work between 2 smaller teams to ensure we end up with the desired product. Despite me being more involved in one group, I am still able to help with the other groups progress and helping them wherever I can. I feel quite satisfied with the final product as it is what we aimed to do in the beginning. In addition the final product achieved what it was supposed to and is visually attractive and has a few of the fun facts of Evergreen. However, there are definitely things I can improve on. For example, I wished I was more involved with the design portion of the poster since I was more involved in the informational aspect of it. I wished that I could help out more with the design team as I am the leader and I would only know about the progress the day before a presentation. Another thing is that I could improve on is starting much much earlier than when we did, so we could take things slower and make a better poster. All in all, this is very fun and educational experience, there are many takeaways during this experience and this is a great experience.
