The lack of women in top jobs is on all of us. To prevent it, we should have all been more proactive – challenging old norms, pushing for diversity, and making workplaces more inclusive. It's a joint effort, both on a personal and a big-picture level.

For examples, we can implement educational programs to challenge gender stereotypes and encourage girls and women to pursue careers in traditionally male-dominated fields. Or, we can also try to ensure transparency in pay structures and conduct regular pay equity audits to identify and rectify any gender pay gaps.

To avoid such problems, the company should carry out regular audits to monitor the working conditions of its suppliers' employees.
