Answer the following questions:

Explain how is cell division demonstrated in this lab. Use data from the lab to support your answer. Cell division was demonstrated in the lab when new things such as roots started to appear on the potatoes. This also affected the mass of the plant as shows on the chart when the large potatoes mass jumped from 1.9g - 2.1g.

In your own words, what is cell differentiation? It is when a cell has a very specific job. To preform this task, the cell needs to have a specific structure.

How was cell differentiation demonstrated in this lab? Use data from the lab to support your answer. The new cells that were being created are undifferentiated, but as they become part of the potato, they start to have different and more specific functions.

Summarize the results of your experiment. Use both qualitative and quantitative data in your answer. The potatoes started growing roots and bumps later in the process of the experiment. This is also shown on the chart when the large potato jumped in mass from 1.6 to 1.8.

Restate your hypothesis and explain whether your data supported or refuted your hypothesis. If all three of the potato specimen are cared for, then they will regenerate into something that resembles a potato. This did not happen because there was not enough time and of corse the conditions were not superb.

Explain any improvements you could make and/or any errors that occurred during the lab experience. If you were to conduct this experiment over again, what specific changes would you make and why? I would use bigger containers so that the potatoes had a larger space to grow and so that they could be 100% covered in soil.
