My name is Zyrene Guia E. Salcedo! From Grade 12 - Saint Ezekiel Moreno 10. My dream is to become a doctor and aid in the healing of others. I'd like to work as a Psychiatrist one day. As I've grew older, I've developed a greater understanding and empathy for those who suffer from mental illness thus my wish to help them someday. My Work Immersion Portfolio demonstrates how I am learning to become a potential professional. From writing my application letter to conducting a self-pitch interview, to participating in webinars about career development and being influenced by them, to my personal thoughts, I've featured it all. We only had webinars of different experiences of Professionals as they journey to be one of the best in their chosen careers and discussions on how to prepare to be one of those professional. In all honesty, the experience was not really fun but it was full of first-hand experience and knowledge of people to be an inspiration and a motivation for us students to continue and never give up on our dreams. The journey of being a professional is never easy. We all know that. But listening to them and their experiences was actually very moving for me. One thing I've learned is that through those sleepless nights, unending studies, break downs, going out of comfort zones to try new things, missing all the special moments in life to study as long your happy and determined to be one of the best in your field someday, everything is worth it. Also, I have learned to always set your goals in mind, know what you love the most and what makes you happy and be yourself.
