  • Why is this species important
    • -  because they are a great pet and are able to produce a shell that swings like a hinge
    • Why is this species in danger
    •  because they are slow and can only hide if they see the danger coming
    • Have people negatively or positively influenced this species
    • positively because we take care of them in many ways along with them being pets and selective breeding has grown the breed 
    • What will happen if the endangered species was to go extinct
    - Nothing would really happen if the turtle went extinct, because none of the other animals rely on them.
