It was a farewell event of my grandfather. He passed away three months ago. When he was still alive, he was the spokesperson of our sacred house. Before leaving us, he informed everyone especially our family members to find an old man to replace him. As we had told to do so, the event was organized right after his funeral. At the event, everyone was compulsory to wear traditional clothes 'tais'. Both of us were getting wet and late, I was freezes with the air-cons and the busy queue before the chance to get change inside the aircraft. We were 7 scouts and 2 teachers appointed by the Ministry of Education to represent Timor-Leste in that event. There we met more than 4,000 Thailand scouts. They were super nice and fun. We did lots of scouting activities and other activities, including making a medicated oil using natural plants we found there and made some beautiful necklaces and bracelets. The event lasted for 6 days, and it was the time that I could never forget.
