I think that the power of fear is more powerful than the power of love.

Firstly I think that by having the power fear, you can tell people what to do, make them do what you want, just by scaring them. With love you can't force people to do things while with fear, one can be scared into doing something.
Another example: Let's say a student isn't doing his work in class, doesn't listen and doesn't do his homework, the teacher won't make him do his work by showing him love and appreciation because it won't work and the student won't be properly motivated because he wont have anything at stake and usually won't care. But if a teacher threatens the student by scaring him and saying he will give him a -4 or a detention, the student will be scared and will do what the teacher sais to not undergo consequences.
Finally, I think the power of fear is stronger than the power of love.
