He began his career as the director of Andersen Consulting in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a role in which he helped increase annual revenue by more than 70 percent. He left that company in 1996 to establish Atlanta Consulting Group International, an Atlanta, Georgia, boutique management consulting firm he led as president and chief executive officer until 2004. Today at AOC, Spiros Zorbalas manages real estate assets with a combined value of more than $700 million.

Spiros Zorbalas earned an MBA at the University of Minnesota in 1992. He also studied at Dartmouth College from 1981-1985 where he studied he finished his degree in biochemistry, and then studied at the University of Minnesota Law School. He is a member of the American Management Association and the treasurer and a board member of the Hellenic Olympic Committee.
