Use your Church yard - light it up with festival lights / outdoor fairy lights. If you have enough adult volunteers to supervise and the weather is good, have an Autumn BBQ or light-pit party serving hot dogs, Smores, Sparklers for older children. Invite everyone to come dressed as a Saint.

Do ensure risk assessments are completed, insurance policies checked, fire extinguishers and first aid kits are in place before proceeding and make sure all fires are completely extinguished.

The bags are carbon neutral, made from sugar cane, and each bag includes a Biblically-based full-colour story booklet from our friends at OneHope, along with an A5 flyer with more information about UCB's resources. Our Church Resource pack is based upon our book 'Sometimes I feel scared'. It includes themed crafts, messy play, colouring sheets, activities, games and song suggestions all based around the theme of fear. It also includes a walk-through of the book, what to say and do as you take children through the story in a fun and interactive way for younger children.

You can go through the pack and choose the elements that will work for you and your group, and create your session or party around the ideas in the pack. There are also general suggestions for your party or event which will help you to plan a brilliant night for your kids that's centered around Jesus.
