Outside of the tutoring sessions, I have students who acknowledge me whenever I see them in the hallways. Knowing that I have students who look up to me in and out of tutoring sessions makes me feel really proud because it feels like I have actually helped them. There are many ways to keep on improving the Writing Center and here are some ideas for the following year:
  • Have meet the author experiences for all interested participants
  • Have more field trips to other Writing Centers.
  • Provide writing workshops to all interested LMSA students during colloquium days.
  • Create interactive activities such as board games or kahoots in order to make writing a fun experience for all.
