Plan:  Distribute the total number of passengers into a category of either survived or died.  Then calculate a conditional distribution based on the passengers class and if they either survived or died.  Finally calculate a conditional distribution based on their class and their gender within their class.

Conclude: From the data it is simple to see that a female in any situation is more likely to survive than a male. How many actually survive is determined by the class they are in. Conclusion: The data shows us that the females had a general higher survival rate than men. The females who were in 1st and 2nd class had the highest survival rate among everyone. The lowest survival rate were from the male passengers in 1st and 2nd class. Overall the females had a higher survival rate than men, regardless of class.
