         <description><![CDATA[<div>State:  Does the class of the passenger have an effect on whether or not they survived?  Does gender have an effect on whether a passenger survived?<br><br>Plan:  Distribute the total number of passengers into a category of either survived or died.  Then calculate a conditional distribution based on the passengers class and if they either survived or died.  Finally calculate a conditional distribution based on their class and their gender within their class.  <br><br>Do:  *See Image*<br><br>Conclude:  From the data it is simple to see that a female in any situation is more likely to survive than a male.  How many actually survive is determined by the class they are in.  The higher the class the greater possibility you have to survive.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>State: Does passenger class and gender affect their survival rate.<br><br>Plan: We will calculate conditional distribution base on gender and passenger class and compare them graphically to determine if the distributions differ. We will use % instead of counts since the gender and passenger class groups are different.<br><br>Do:&nbsp;<br><br>Conclusion: The data shows us that females from both 1st and second class had a higher survival rate and that males from third class had a higher survival rate.This does not suggest an association between gender and survival rate.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>State: Is there an association between ticket class and survival rate?&nbsp;<br>Plan: We will calculate conditional distributions based on class and gender and compare them graphically to determine their survival rate based on their gender and class to see if they differ. We will use percent instead of counts since the class sizes and gender numbers are different.&nbsp;<br>Do: (Graph below)<br>Conclusion: The data shows us that the females had a general higher survival rate than men. The females who were in 1st and 2nd class had the highest survival rate among everyone. The lowest survival rate were from the male passengers in 1st and 2nd class. Overall the females had a higher survival rate than men, regardless of class. This suggests an advantage for females and survival rate , particularly females in 1st and 2nd class. &nbsp;However there is no correlation between class and survival rate.</div>]]></description>
