I think that reason number 1 best explains why many Americans don’t vote. This reason was convincing because you have to do a lot of paperwork and it’s a lot of work.

In my opinion, I think reason one best explains why man Americans do not vote. If registration takes work you may not want to do that work. Nobody wants to do work so if you don’t want to then you just won’t vote.

I think it was the first reason. I think it was that because the people don’t want to go ride 20 minutes in their car just to put a vote in. But one time the people sent the ballets to their houses but surprisingly it lowered the voting rate.

I think Americans don’t vote because registration is long and takes work. Also they might not like the presidents that are running.

In my opinion it would be the 1st reason (which was Registering Takes Work) because there is a site that I’d have to go to, then fill out the paperwork, and its a long process. It was interesting to me because in the United States people are kind of busy but still a lot of people vote.

I think that according to the article, the reason people don’t vote is because they need to be educated early and well meaning that children should be properly taught to vote at a young age . I think that people still wont vote if their is a third party because you still have to register to get in. But also they might because some people don’t like republicans and democrats so they might like a new group.

Yes. If you don’t like either candidate you you most likely won’t want to vote. If there was more options than you have more choices on who to vote for which means you would be more likely to vote.

If there was more than 2 parties which there is but they are not the main 2 parties, I think people would vote more because on Page 362 the second paragraph states that some people don’t like each of the parties.

I would maybe go around the neighborhood and put up posters and knock on door asking them to vote.

I think that the best reason that Americans couldn’t vote was because of education. The biggest predictor of whether someone will vote is whether they hold a college degree because they are more likely to learn politics and have a friend that will vote. It is most convincing because it is a big part of the deciding factor to vote.

Yes, because they would vote for the candidate whose ideas support their own preferences. Evidence from the text shows that the United States is mainly a two party system. Many people don’t vote because if they don’t like a democrat or republican running for office they wont vote. However, if they like a third party candidate they may show up to vote. By Bijoux

I think more people in the U.S. would vote if there was more parties because the would have more freedom to choose.

If I was an Election Official and my town barely votes I would put up signs and explain them why to vote. If that doesn’t work I would give speeches and tell them why voting is important.

I would get volunteers to knock on door and ask people to vote. I would also put up colorful and noticeable signs that people won’t miss.

As an election official what I would do to increase the amount of people voting in my community Is I would send my hired supporters to walk door to door encouraging others to vote for me. By Bijoux
