With the discoveries of new medicines we can prevent and completely eliminate diseases and viruses such as cancer, measles, flu, etc. And even better, it can help with the creation of tools that can be used for surgeries such as organ transplants and removals, vision correction, and even plant better inventions to control heartbeats and brain signals that might even be better than electroencephalograms.

That said, NASA scientists have made some important discoveries and progress that someday soon, may let all of us on Earth breathe a little easier." With places like the International Space Station, we can predict natural disasters and collect data that can help us understand more about where we stand in our galaxy.

According to NBC news, it costs 62 million dollars to send one satellite into space, to get to the Karmen line it costs 250,000 dollars, and one space shuttle can cost up to 196 billion dollars to make, and for each mission it costs 450 million dollars to send up to space. With these ridiculous prices, NASA has started to rely on the Russian space program to send astronauts into space, while we could just stop wasting money and save it.

For example,"The U.S. Navy dumped close to 25,000 mines in the water as part of 1945’s Operation Starvation. Hundreds remained in the water long afterwards were still around decades later, still dangerous.

What makes sea mines so insidious is the mine designers cracked the overarching technical problem of keeping the mines effective after they’ve been in the ocean for years. The most basic type of sea mine is detonated when a ship brushes up against the side and causes an electrical circuit to be completed that activates the explosive."

With the great opportunity and privilege of being able to go explore beyond our planet's boundaries, why wouldn't we use it to help us as a species. The possibility of new medicines that could be discovered is way more important right now that understanding who we are. We probably wouldn't be alive if we didn't keep advancing our medicines. And what about our planet's natural disasters? With satellites in place we can find more patterns in our planets weather and predict disasters, and even find new ways to prevent them. But even though the cost is very expensive, it is still and great investment that can bring us so much more that money
