Yo soy americano. Yo me llamo Cam. Yo tengo 17 años. Yo me voy a quedar con una familia de ticos por 6 meses. El padre de la famila de ticos con la que me voy a quedar se llama Ricardo y la madre se llama Maria. Ellos tienen dos hijos de mi edad. Javier y Marco son gemelos. Ellos también tienen una niña de 3 años que se llama Rosa.

Yo llego el 11 de enero a Costa Rica. Yo tengo que tomar un avión y necesito mi pasaporte para viajar. Llegó a las 2:30 de la tarde el dia 11.  Todos ellos me van a ir a recogerme al aeropuerto. El plan para el fin de semana es mostrarme lugares cercanos a la casa y de  la escuela y más de la cultura de ticos ya que voy a vivir ahí por 6 meses.

La casa queda a 45 minutos del aeropuerto. La casa queda en la ciudad pero no en el centro exactamente. Maria me envió una carta diciendome que está muy emocionada por conocerme en persona. También la carta tiene fotos de la familia y de la casa. La casa es de dos pisos es de piedra y muy bonita. No es una casa ni muy grande ni muy pequeña. Tiene un pequeño jardín y un garaje para los coches. La dirección de la casa es 1739 calle 4 Po Box 45008 Casa numero 13.

Nuestro pasatiempo es jugar a los videojuegos. Nosotros fuimos al centro comercial de San José nuestro padre nos llevó en su carro. El centro comercial queda como a 45 minutos de nuestra casa. Another thing is that the adjective goes after the noun in Spanish. Possessive nouns don't exist in Spanish. Last but not least there fewer prepositions in Spanish. There are a lot more differences between these two languages. Something interesting about the Costa Rican culture is how they stay together as a family and how they are known for the growth of coffee beans. I hope to learn much more about the Spanish because I would like to speak it as my second language. Having an online class was a bit difficult for me because I am a football player and I didn't have too much time to do my assignments. But I managed to make some time between the practices and the other classes at school. I think online classes are easier but I do not think it's the best way to learn. I think that in the classroom as well as listening to the teacher and taking notes as in the online class we can talk with our classmates and practice more. I used to take a lot of notes about everything to improve my reading and writing. And for the listen I started watching movies in Spanish and subtitles in English. That helped me a bit because in the movies they talk very fast and I don't understand Spanish very much yet. My teacher helped me a lot by giving me feedback about what I was doing wrong or right so that way I could fix my mistakes in the future. Whenever I had a question she would answer it right back and tell me how to do/finish my work. Nosotros usamos un uniforme de camisa blanca y pantalón negro. La corea, los zapatos y las medias también son color negro. Primera hora es la clase de ciencias y a esa hora también le toca a Marco. Segunda hora es la clase de matemáticas y estoy solo. La tercera hora es la clase de historia y también estoy solo. Cuarta hora es la clase de espanol y a esa hora me toca clase con Javier. La quinta es la clase de educación física y a esa hora  estamos los 3 juntos.
