This week we worked on our detailed lesson plan (DLP) for pre- and post-haircutting services. We showed it to Sir Nico before submitting it to get his feedback and make any necessary changes. Finding information online was hard because it's a specific topic. We searched using different keywords and looked at websites for hairdressers. This extra work helped us create a better DLP. We're ready to make any final adjustments Sir Nico suggests. This extra effort helped us create a strong DLP that accurately reflects our topic

Today marked the presentation of our lesson plan. As expected, Sir Nico offered insightful feedback, highlighting areas for improvement. His suggestions focused on enhancing the activities by incorporating more modern and engaging approaches, replacing some of our initially planned, more traditional methods. He also emphasized the crucial link between our stated learning objectives and the planned activities and their practical application. Furthermore, he provided valuable guidance on optimizing the time allocation for each segment of the lesson, ensuring a balanced and efficient learning experience. His feedback was instrumental in refining our lesson plan and will inform our revisions before final submission.

This week, we concentrated on developing a prototype and designing a brochure to accompany it. Following a brainstorming session to identify a suitable product, we decided to create an okra gummy. Our discussions covered various aspects of prototype development, from material selection and construction techniques to functionality and overall design. We also explored different brochure layouts, considering the target audience and the key features of the okra gummy we wanted to highlight. The week concluded with a clear plan for creating both the prototype and the accompanying marketing material

Today's prototype demonstration was a huge relief! While not perfect, it was far from a disaster. My professor's only critique was the need to add the original gummy bear procedure; everything else received positive feedback. I'm incredibly proud of the result, especially given the tight deadline and the procedural and SOP challenges we faced. It's particularly rewarding considering how much we had to overcome.

Interestingly, the professor also commented on other groups' outputs, specifically their procedures and brochures. However, we're very pleased with our own accomplishment. We gave it our all, and I'm particularly grateful for Melissa Taurac's collaboration. She and I were the primary driving force behind our group's success, constantly communicating and working together to overcome obstacles. The experience solidified our teamwork and problem-solving skills, and I feel confident that adding the gummy bear procedure will finalize the project successfully. The positive feedback, coupled with the challenges we overcame, has been a valuable learning experience

This week's focus was on green screen technology. Sir Nico provided a link to a sample outline on YouTube, advising us to replicate it as closely as possible. He emphasized the importance of mastering this technique, explaining that it would be a valuable skill for future online class discussions, making them more efficient. He specifically mentioned emulating the style and quality of DepEd TV productions. We're uncertain about the project's specific requirements and timeline, and I'm hoping for full cooperation from my group members, especially Ms. Saipoden, to ensure a successful outcome.

The instruction to emulate DepEd TV suggests a high standard of production quality is expected. We need to consider aspects such as lighting, audio quality, visual clarity, and the overall presentation style. Successfully replicating the YouTube example will require careful planning and execution. We need to divide tasks efficiently, ensuring each member contributes their strengths to the project. A detailed breakdown of responsibilities, including specific roles and deadlines, will be crucial for effective collaboration and timely completion. Open communication and regular check-ins will be essential to address any challenges promptly and maintain momentum throughout the project. Furthermore, we need to identify and secure access to the necessary equipment and software to achieve the desired quality.

This week, Sir Nico introduced us about the UNIT PLAN. He discussed about the unit plan, outlining the tasks. Initially, I was quite confused because there was so much to do. However, by the end, I started to understand, although some parts remain unclear. I hope to grasp and accomplish everything along the way, as creating a unit plan is no easy feat. He explained it's similar to a lesson plan, but this time, it spans five days. Essentially, I need to plan daily activities for the students, deciding how each activity will be implemented. I struggled particularly with the hyperlink aspect; I found it confusing and am worried about doing it correctly. However, I will do my best to complete this final requirement. I will succeed, Insha'Allah.

The unit plan requires a comprehensive approach, encompassing learning objectives, assessment strategies, and detailed daily lesson plans. The integration of hyperlinks, while initially challenging, adds a dynamic element to the learning experience, allowing for interactive and engaging activities. I am focusing on clarifying the unclear aspects of the unit plan by seeking additional guidance from my instructor or peers. I am confident that through dedicated effort and perseverance, I will successfully complete this project.
