People aged 18-24 are often targets for identity thieves due to them usually not knowing how to properly secure their information. Children are also easy targets since, because their tax information is reviewed less often that adults, fraud is less likely to be reported early. Another susceptible group is the elderly, due mostly to them generally not having a good understanding of technology and how such thefts occur.
