You have just observed that teacher in action teaching a EL/Geog lesson.  What you observed is that the teacher is largely doing well in executing the lesson plan but not responding to the  situational happenings in the classroom. There were several disruptive behaviors such as students shouting out answers, talking to each other, walking about during lessons, using of handphone and sleeping in class... which were noticeable but not addressed adequately because the teacher was more concerned about using the time to execute the planned lesson to cover the syllabus.  There were signs that students were not following the lesson well an not meeting learning objectives.  The young teacher is generally a perceptive teacher who is willing to learn although at times can be defensive.
